When i play in the clockworks with some friends, i am randomly " pushed " in a certain direction and inclosed in a circular barrier. I can barely move and i also CAN'T ATTACK. This leaves me vunerable to attacks and it makes me look [goofy]! is there a way to fix this? it ruins the my whole gaming experience.

No..Latency (or lag for

Latency (or lag for short) is when your computer and/or internet connection is to slow for the server.
This makes it so that your game is updated slower than it should be. And when your game catshes up with the info the server has, you will be moved to where you really stand.. which makes it look like you are puched around.

The only way to fix this is to either get a better internet connection, and/or get a better computer.

Some latancy is caused by the server though, and THAT can not be fixed by anyone but OOO..

Try lowering the grafics, as it may slow your computer down..

You may also try

You may also try to see if there are any other processes eating up bandwidth on your connection. In particular, SK uses quite a bit of upstream bandwidth which on most connections is capped lower. So looking for that room mate seeding torrentfiles and kicking him in the nuts (err asking him politley to pause the seed while you are playing) might help.

Yeah.. that too..
It's a generall rule; When playing online games, turn off EVERYTING that uses internet, so that the game gets the whole bandwidth by itself.

Bajro.. that is not the same

Bajro.. that is not the same thing..
Being "pushed" is when walking, and then all of a sudden you are moved about 2 to 5 steps sideways.. without interupting movement..

"Rubber banding" happend to me too, twice only though. And that ended for my automaticly after e few minutes.. Luckily it happend in Haven for me.

MeSako I point you to

MeSako I point you to rpb97ilv's second problem:
"inclosed in a circular barrier. I can barely move and i also CAN'T ATTACK"

Which is exactly what happens to me. There is an invisible radius in which I can't move out of, nor can I attack with any weapon. I fail to see how this problem is a lag problem.

Becouse the server belives

Becouse the server belives you to simply stand in that position, so it moves you back there..
To me it seams like you lost connection..

This is a consistent problem

This is a consistent problem because the game is designed to listen to the server first and not the client.

Meaning you can be moving in a certain direction, and the server will "correct" you.

It happens during combat too, when you will take damage from an attack you very clearly had your shield up in time for, or if you swing at a monster and it cuts right through their body but they simply ignore it as if you never attacked.

It's a big problem, actually, and should be corrected to prioritize the Client. It would improve user-experience.

Well.. if it prioritize the client.. Noone will acctually se any teammates where thaty really are..

When I play Monster Hunter Tri, the game priorities the Client, and there I often se my teammates hack away at nothing.. then somthing on the other side of the field dies..
