One's with titles you can input yourself, for example: business contacts, IRL friends, Spelunking partners, Begginners-who-need-help. etc.

Yeah, that would be nice,

Yeah, that would be nice, but...
If you can remember who your "friends" are by yourself, then they aren't that important after all.

thats why sub folders would be nice. there are some friends which I can remember off the top of my head, but I get alot of friend requests and I never turn them down. some friends are more important than others, but keeping track of why they became your friend in the first place would be helpful.

+1? +2? lol dont know

Thinking that way, I can see how helpful this would be.
I receive a lot of friend requests too (but I don't even really know why I accepted half of them in the first place lol), so some sub-folders to organize everything would be nice.

Thanks!!

the great thing is that this sort of thing would (probably) be easy to implement too! they already have folders in there for guilds and active/inactive players, and search function allow you to type stuff in them... it'd be pretty much just combining those two functions and the ability to move players between those folders.

This would be a fabulous idea -- for while I can keep track of some of them due to them being STEAM friends I know that when I start adding people I meet in-game or here in the forums I'd like to have a reminder of How I met them to begin with. Sub categories would aid in this. ^^
