Yes, the header says it all...

Mist energy was defined as a form of energy that can slowly be collected from the air.
Crystal energy was defined as a form of energy, that unlike mist, does not disperse quickly and can be stored easily...

by the term itself: Mist is a dispersed quantity of a substance in air. Crystal is a lattice made of a substance.

Diamond - a crystal composed of compressed carbon, but it is made naturally by the earth in a real lot of years
In recent years, we have had the technology to create our own synthetic diamond, although it does not maintain the same color as natural diamond, it still is diamond.

My proposal:
NPC capable of compressing a set amount of energy in your mist tank to crystal.
But since it was compressed, you would get less than the original amount. As a tradeoff though, this allows you to store it, AND LET YOUR MIST TANK REFILL beyond that 100 Mce limit.

the conversion would be...
A. 100 mist = 95 crystal
B. 50 mist = 40 crystal
C. 10 mist = 7 crystal
D. 5 mist = 3 crystal

THERE IS ALSO CROWN COSTS but haven't thought of how much yet...

Why decrement? balance issues, and to avoid people from abusing it....

this is helpful, for example I cant play today while my mist tank is full, and I could only be back tomorrow, then I wasted 100 worth of refill of mist....

I have another mist conversion idea, but maybe later...

EDIT: 7/1/11 crown cost...

No, bad.

Mist is renewable free energy.
CE is finite, and comes with a real cost.

You're making free money. Do you see a problem with that yet? A player can just spend all of 2 months compressing energy on his alts while playing happily on his main.

Even for this idea to work, you'd want to either maintain a proper ME/CE ratio, or even diminishing returns for greater ME compressions.

this would make CE more

this would make CE more worthless

I prefer keeping CE entirely

I prefer keeping CE entirely a real money cost object, or else ppl will just grind out however much ce they want for free and ruin the game...
