Saving Crystals for gates

So I've been thinking, since we can make everyone put certain crystals in certain gates, how about we just save all the crystals we get for a month then put the ones you want in, in. Maybe we could make a thread and collaborate on where to put what.
We can't stop people from just dumping them in, but we can put in stupid amounts of minerals at one time.
Maybe this will do something?

Originally I had just stuffed my minerals into gates for the 5 crowns per, since I was poor back then but soon after I figured that I'd save up in case I wanted to manipulate the stratas, probably with a guild that I'd hope to make eventually. I probably have about 3000-4000 minerals now that I've been saving in case I want to do anything with them. Plus with the gates not paying out 5 (I've never seen 5 crowns as a payout before) I'm a bit down about it not being as worth it to deposit minerals. I've also seen some people who are mad about Shock and Poison gates and were trying to get people to put the negative affecting minerals into the gates.

Actually, recently I stopped the newest gate from having a shock theme in the 4th stratum, it's gremlin cause of me ^_^.

Buh
I have been saving for a while, today I tried to make Duke's pre FSC stratum into gremlins, but got sniped by someone else and it ended up as fiends.
As some extra data, it turns out you can't deposit more than 500 of a given mineral at a time.

I've been saving up my minerals for the last few weeks precisely for purposes such as these. If there are enough "mineral savers" running around, all we'd need is a guiding influence to alter unfavorable strata precisely before they launch, and... Yeah. In theory, good things could happen.

i was under the impression
i was under the impression those minerals had to be deposited (at once) into an individual gate for the achievement, not ANY gate over time (cumulative deposit). thats just how its worded in the description so thats how i interpretted it, but i never bothered to check wth anyone whether thats the case.
so which is it? seems like i (and i'm guessing others) was wrong

i hate those! They're like the devil's minions. I bet you the devil is the chairman of whatever business the devlites run.
It has nudged a few strata in the past (see: Project uJelly).
Is there a particular result you were interested in going for?
Thankfully you don't need to get the whole server helping you-- only need to get enough people to overcome the autoselling hordes. Though it helps if your intended outcome involves the purple or blue minerals, as those are most common.
