No matter how many times I restart the game/my computer, reinstall, etc. My heat never increases, no matter how much energy I use. Any idea why my heat is not increasing on any of my weapons, armor, etc?

You get heat by collecting it
You get heat by collecting it from defeated enemies and destroyed crates. What do you mean by "how much energy I use"?

By "wasted" you mean you played in dungeons and used the energy for the elevators and such? Do you play in Tier 3? What does it do when you arrive at an elevator?

Looking at your list of equipment, that's 5 pieces of 4-star equipment all at higher levels. It's going to take a fair amount of heat to level all of them simultaneously because the heat you receive is divided among all equipment that you have equipped that has not yet reached level 10. Also, the higher the star and the higher the level of a piece of equipment, the more heat it takes. So it is entirely possible that the progress of your equipment leveling is just very very slow.
What level are they? Please describe what you are doing for your heat to increase.
