I've noticed as brandish crafter, even before the the steam integration, was generally profitable even if you didn't get UVs, lately people are selling brandishes as low as 1900 crowns, I don't really know what people hope to obtain by selling brandishes that low, i mean i can understand people just won't need them eventually but I think what people are thinking is like, "cheaper it is the faster it will sell" or something I don't know its just getting frustrating how low people are lowering their prices to, if we keep a balanced market, people will still buy brandishes as long as the price isn't too rediculous. 2.5-3k is a good amount that makes it still profitable.

Am I the only person who feels this way, this is becoming a major turn off from crafting more brandishes making the UV market just really boring/expensive.

This problem is not exclusive

This problem is not exclusive to brandish, sadly I don't think it is going to change.

well 3 rings could up the vender price, I mean with hazebombs its whatever, but I guess the same time 3rings is anti-UVs since I believe they stated something to the effect that they never meant to make UVs a competitive thing but something as a nice added bonus, and I guess thats why the newer items take tokens instead being able to craft them straight up.

so they are basically admitting they have no idea how an mmo works? =P

not quite, I mean they just

not quite, I mean they just messed up their own design in a sense, and possibly, but I guess they intended UVs as its like,"oh great i got a UV only 10% chance" which is a nice bonus for ur first armor set but when u get a full 5 star armor set you want to start getting good UVs to have an end game armor set. I mean like my vog cub coat got a sleep UV, (which sleep resistance is currently completely useless), so its like okay, uhhh cool?

for people that craft solely

for people that craft solely to get nothing but the best possible UVs on equipment, selling non-UV equipment at rock bottom prices only hurts the other people trying to craft as well

anyone buying non-UV equipment is probably delighted

I typically sell Brandishes at 1900 crowns or lower because yes, they sell quickly and I like to put that money back into crafting as soon as possible. Undercutting in general is a part of any game with any economy (or really anything, life included) and if you're not willing to cope/adapt to it, you're just going to have to learn to Deal With It

At least you can sell

At least you can sell brandishes for more than the crown cost to craft them. Haze bombs you may as well just vendor

see the thing about haze

see the thing about haze bombs is that they only cost 10 energy to craft so it's easy to just log in and spend all your mist making haze bombs and log off that's the reason haze bombs will never sell for more than you can vendor them for

I don't understand why there

I don't understand why there are people selling haze bombs for LESS than 300 cr. And with the added auction tax, what's the point?

If OOO didn't want us to be

If OOO didn't want us to be spam-crafting for perfect UV setups, then they should make some way to add a UV to already existing 5* gear. Even if just being able to transfer UVs from other gear, it would at least allow us to craft a larger variety of 2* junk while hunting down UVs. But the best approach IMO would be to allow UVs to be added by items which you can buy with obscene quantities of boss tokens.

2.5-3k still isn't

2.5-3k still isn't profitable.

50 CE = 2600
+ 400
+ ~1200 for mats (if you craft fo'srs, you can't NOT buy mats)

the only time in history 2* items were profitable lasted about 3 days when CE was 4k or less and 2* gear was selling for 4k+.. sadly even then, it wasn't as glorious as people acted like. It was just far better than the previous standard of taking a considerable loss on everything. I'm confident in saying those days will never come again - best we can all hope for is plenty of TF2 promos.

well usually most crafter

well usually most crafter just spend their mist energy so its generally actually pretty profitable if u aren't mass buying CE, I actually tried just using 1000 mist energy and ended up getting like 2 crappy UVs so wasn't really worth it anyways.
