So, I just moved country, and am using an old laptop(Acer TravelMate 230) until my good PC arrives...

256MB DDR RAM
1024MB Page File
64MB Intel Graphics
2.0Ghz Intel Celeron
Windows XP Home

My question is - is there ANY way to play this game with 256MB RAM? I've gotten into the main menu; I've even managed to load the starting area to 100% but then it pulled me back to the main menu(sometimes the game even crashed).

How much RAM does Spiral Knights use? If it's a minimum of let's say, 200MB, I'm screwed. Is there any way to make the game use more of my page file(or any other way anyone can think of)? I just want to play the game - I can handle lag.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Koozwad

You're probably going to have to just wait for your good PC to arrive, unfortunately.

Thats a losing battle without

Thats a losing battle without upgrading your RAM. Your already half of what the game needs to run properly, and on top of that your graphics chip is taking 64MB of that to run the frame buffer.

Thanks guys. It seems my good PC is arriving in 5 days, so I won't bother upgrading the RAM(it's too old anyway, I wouldn't know where to buy it).
