A few questions for the community,
I started playing today, and its awesome but there are a few things I don't understand.

1. What do I do when i'm out of energy? I'm not planning on buying, do I just wait?
2. When I'm with a party and somebody else picks up money, do I also get money? or is it only for that person?
3. Is there a way to get crowns without having energy, or is energy really important.
Its too bad energy is such a big deal, I have the feeling it kills the game completely.
Its not farmville :D, I see the game more as a demo than a free to play game.
It all looks so awesome but the energy sucks.

Energy really isn't a big deal once you know what you're doing. I thought the same as you when I first started but once I figured out the system (and did some reading on these forums) things got a lot easier and I don't even worry about energy now.
But I just don't understand why there is even a enery system.
When I'm out of energy its eiter pay or stop playing, I don't like that.
The game should be easy on energy especially on the beginning on the game.
I love to see the pay system like this:
Crowns you can get for killing enemys ect.
And special coins you can get for paying money, with those you can buy special weapons and armor and go to special places.
It works fine in most games.
Ahh well, I don't think ill keep playing if I need to pay for energy, and the game is boring when I don't have any :D

You have problem with energy being restrictive, but you want to implement something that is way MORE restrictive?
This game is actually FREE in every single meaning of that word (ok, let's be honest - this exclude the insane crafting energy costs... 800 energy? Holy cow, there is no chance I will ever be able to afford it!!!)
But except this insane crafting issue, this game is free - meaning no one can have better items or can access better places than you.
With the system you suggested, paying players would be in a HUGE advantage.
You can make an 800 energy item without paying real money. It's easier with money, but certainly doable without. Just stockpile crowns and buy the CE from someone else.

Lets get alot of hats.
Seriously.
1) You can click on the energy counter in the lower right corner to purchase crystal energy with crowns, if you have enough.
2) Money, heat, and minerals are all shared equally. :)
3) Not really. You can always sell things but you probably had to use energy to obtain the item in the first place, either by crafting or gate running.
There are some really good guides on these forums for becoming self-sustaining on energy, you should check them out. They'll keep you playing well after your mist energy has run out. :)
