Whenever I fight Greavers in say Arena's sometimes when they stun me, I was using a shield while they attacked. I think they are bugged which allows them to stun you even if your shield is up.

Also, I think there range is broken a bit...the range of there attack seems to hit farther than what there attack animation suggests.

I also think that there a bit overpowered I mean, considering that there really fast and catch up to you in a very short time, it can be hard to dodge them effectively. If your not at a certain range when they charge at you then you get hit, unless you shield. Not to mention your shield is mauled down a lot when your surrounded by like 5 Greavers that swarm you in a matter of seconds...

Does anyone else think there overpowered, or bugged, or that there range is broken?

Speaking of range, Those

Speaking of range, Those Mecha Knights seem to jolt forward when they do their spin attack, Just like the Phantom's did before it got fixed.

Hi, I'm Helstar.

Greavers are fairly easy. Stop shielding around them, that's a mistake. One attack is all it takes to get them to cease their current swoop. Just one quick swing of a sword or shot of any gun. And if you go through with all attacks on the Sword or Gun or Bomb, you'll usually kill them.

The only thing wrong with them is inflicting status effects while Shields are up, and that may be intentional to offset the fact that nothing else does it.

Yeah..

@Cobalt
I noticed that too...coem to think of it..I think Mecha Knights are overpowered a bit as well, I mean they spam there charge attack a lot, seemingly, and there charge time FOR there charge attack is much less than any of ours. It's like a 2 second charge time and ours for swords is like 5 seconds at level 10.

@Hel
Hmm...I still think there range is bugged a bit. And even though there pretty easy, it can be hard to target them if your also getting swarmed by turret bullets or Mecha Knights, which is why I think there attack should be weakened a bit, because trying to dodge there attacks while dodging the attacks of other monsters can be a chore, especially in turret fire. They catch up to and swarm so fastly that if your slowly weaving through turret fire they can hit you, and if 5 of them hit you and each attack takes of a bar and a half...that's bad.

Yep

Speaking of mechas, I notice the normal bomb dropping ones deal a lot of damage with their supposedly normal charge, even with decents amount of armor, is the element showing right?

Also, yes, greavers are a pain, the best defense against them is a good offense since one attack interrupts them.
They are kind of unfair to bombers though I'd say.

You're only really dealing

You're only really dealing with greavers and turrets in an arena. Whenever you are about to kill the last part of an arena spawn, do it on the edge of the platform. This way you don't wake up all the gun puppies at once (usually, without waking up any at all), and can kite the greavers around the edge while you plink them off as they charge up after you.

Greavers are fine; they mix

Greavers are fine; they mix things up. The best defense vs greavers is to hit them, not shield or try to dodge.

If you or your party put yourself in a situation where you just can't defend, too bad. Arenas are controllable. If it comes down to it, take the hit; you should have some shadow protection to keep from taking the full damage. Greavers don't do much damage compared to other enemies. Their lingering status effects are their strength, and their speed allows them to reach you. Their attack is weak.

Mechaknights do have a really

Mechaknights do have a really short charge time, and they do spam it. It's annoying in tier 3 cause they also shoot either bullets or bombs, the freezing ones just destroy you on the spot.

What monkeyman135 said.

Greavers sometimes do leave some mist in their current area, and while they do not inflict any direct damage, they can inflict status effects even if you're shielded.

While their swooping-in may be annoying, I could handle them alright even if all of them swarmed into me. Once they fly in, a swing with my Snarble Barb was all it takes to push them away and out of their attack's reach. I shield only if there are some that did not get hit by my swing.

check the wiki, greavers

check the wiki, greavers leave a status inflicting haze after dive bombing. Haze always affects whether the target is shielding or not.

@Pupu

Color of the charge doesn't accurately reflect the damage that's dealt by the attack.

Only the bars that appear when you're hit show the real damage type.
