okay so lets say i wanted to do a jelly king run at tier 2, i enter a gate and start at moorcraft manor. however, i dont have enough energy to do every level until jelly king, if i run out of energy and have to leave, and enter the same gate after i get some more energy, will i be at the same level as i left off? or will i have to start at moorcraft manor everytime? and does this mean ill always have to have enough energy beforehand to do all the levels required?

Depens on what the purpouse of your run.
If you just want to earn Crowns, heat and what not.. Join a party, since it more profitable at the second half of a tier (after the terminal).
If youre looking for new recepies, start from beginning, since skipping levels reduces the amount of recepies Basil sells to you (might be able to skip one level.. not entirely sure).
Want boss tookens.. Make sure to at least start from the terminal.. since skipping the boss levels reduces the amount of tookens you get from the boss.
You will always start back at Moorcraft Manor, unless you join a party already in progress. If you want to go through the entire tier you need to do it in one go.
