Okay, so the in-game tooltip thing mentions that gates rotate in real time, you are not going to see all the stages in one run, and "only a true adventutrer will explore all of clockworks", or something like that.
So, I was thinking of suggesting a reward for maxing out a gate by beating every level it has to offer. Not just vertically, but horizontally. Could be kept in your "advancement" tab which is pretty empty right now. Alternatively, an achievement could do maybe, though that'd be kinda lame and one time only.
This'd prompt people to play stages other than the ones that are the most profitable (guilty as charged) if the reward is good enough, which would improve variety a bit.
Alternatively, beating a stage for the first time in a gate could carry a reward (you explored a stage and sent the data back to HQ for analysis and you are rewarded or something), with a bigger reward if you beat all of them in the strata, and an even bigger one for the tier. Maybe some kind of tokens? CE and mist tanks is the first idea that comes to mind but those rewards are rare for a reason I assume.
Anyway, just throwing this out there. Would be cool to actually encourage adventure in an adventure game instead of going for the steady stuff.
I kinda like the idea with achievements regarding Clockwork exploration.
Generaly, I hope they are planning to add more achievements, because I always enjoy completing them and right now, there are only several of them.
