How about Daily Missions and Daily Rewards? why not, this would help the newbies get started and it'd help knights do thing aside from JK, lol how about that? Maybe list a set of Newbie missions for when Newbies start off to help them get more used to the game and give them minor rewards :P. for the Older Knights the Daily Missions will give decent mats, crowns, and mist energy/CE?

Like devpicks on quake live
Like devpicks on quake live sort of, where for the whole weekent they'll have a new game mode, like only rocket launchers and no self damage, so everyones rocket jumping accross space ctf. You seem like you see this as a newbie thing though NiteZ, this would definitely be a al teir thing. That being said, I cant quickly think of some kind of quest that would be different from a normal level or boss. Try thinking of quests now, keep the ball rolling.

Hm.
Making it something that would be a game changer (through the possible things gained, ie. energy) would never happen. I would, however, not mind getting a few crowns or common mats.
Examples of (unoriginal :C ) quests that I can think of:
- Kill Count: kill 50 puppies, or something more broad like 150 fiends.
- Mini-cheevos: beating a boss without taking damage, wearing lower-tier armor, using only bombs, etc.
- Something to make it more social: playing a certain tier or gate with 3 different parties
- Something to make you better: beating bosses on your own?
I just want something else to do, not a whole new headache.

These seem more like acheivment's though, I think it would be easier to tack on reward's to things like that. Mabey... CE? I like the killcount idea, somehow that didn't occur to me.
I would like to see something like quests in this game. And I don't care whether they would be daily or not. Maybe they could be "weekly" quests, considering the gate rotation. Yeah. Different quest at least every week.
Either way, I think they certainly SHOULD implement quests! :)
Like, "talk with that guy over there, go to depth 4 of certain gates, kill this and that and bring back the rare relic you find there."
I always enjoy doing quests :)
