Not sure were to put this topic into but for now it'll be here.
I don't know if anyone had noticed but there's a video that hacks the game and gives you free energy. I don't know why no one bothered to post it in the forum but I find it disturbing.
I hope the devs should at least look at this.
Edit by Endymion: Removed link - these are attempts to steal your accounts. Do not ever attempt any such "hacks" - you will gain nothing, but a thief will get access to your account.

It's best to e-mail this stuff to the devs. Don't post it on the forums.

Aimed for Suckers

It's not a hack. It's a scam. Once you enter your username and password, it's safe to say good bye to your account because the scammer has your information to use at his/her discretion~ :p

Seriously though, who are these suckers that keep falling for such old trick?

Lol

Yeah, this sure looks legit. Let me input my data.
OMG I have been hacked, I hope the devs should at least look at this!

Also, CE is completely server sided, there's no way to "magically create it". Mist energy is more mysterious.

Aside from notifying OOO about it, I think the admins encourage you to flag such videos as scam -> fraud.

I've removed the link to the video. These are always attempts to steal your accounts. Do not ever enter your account data other than into the game or on our website (spiralknights.com). Do not download software that claims to do something too "good" to be true - because it isn't.

Edit to add: Indalecio above is spot on: Reporting those on youtube for scam/fraud ("flag this video -> spamming -> scam/fraud") is the right thing to do.

If you want to demonstrate to

If you want to demonstrate to yourself that a site that asks you to give your login information is fake, then you can enter fake login information. That is, login information that doesn't resemble yours in the slightest. A scam site won't have the slightest clue as to whether what you enter is real or not, as they don't have access to Three Rings' database. Thus, they have to either accept everything or reject everything. If they accept fake information, then that's proof that the site is fake. If they reject it, then they might just be rejecting everything, so it's probably still a scam.

Ok guys, i found a legit hack a bit ago & its totally easy.
So in game go to the energy tab then press left right up left left down B a b A and click "purchase" just as you hit the last a.
If it asks for credit card info just put it in then try the sequence again, it wont actually charge it.
This only works with the 7500ce option so make sure its on that.
I've gotten over 50k ce using this method. Have fun!

TIP: (this goes generally for uploaded videos)

look at the comments..

but then a troll would say...
"but i looked at the comments and many replied that it was ahwsome!"

well, my friends
open the name/account of the poster first, and look at his/her previous uploaded videos.
THEN open each (or probably the first 3) accounts of the commenters... and check them out....

IF you notice that the uploader has good history, meaning, there are a variety of videos that "look" legit, then its probably a legit post...

IF the first three to comment go by saying:
"wow this is awesome!" ; "thanks man, this is great!" ; "wow it actually worked!" or something else like those mentioned,
LOOK AT THE HISTORY OF THEIR ACCOUNTS FIRST!

if the posted video is a scam/fake then you will notice that the poster, and the commenters have something in common in them:
NO VIABLE CONTENT IN THEIR ACCOUNT....
and probably, ALL of those four or more accounts are own by the same malicious bastard....

Actually in League of Legends

Actually in League of Legends the Konami code does work...

When the servers are in restricted mode like after a reboot or the like you can do the Konami code at the signin screen and it will let you attempt to login. Seriously...

I think it took a couple of guys on vent about 5-10 mins of convincing for me to even consider trying it. Then when I did and the server status popped to server available and I'm like WTF. They were laughing so hard that I didn't believe them that it was legit.

This is very fishy stuff

I just checked this on youtube. There were like 40 comments saying it works. Then I check those accounts that said it works, it look totally legit. I mean the accounts are made like in 2007, and they got subscribers and other upload videos and things. If this is a scam, I have to say the scammer did a really good job of it. My conspiracist instinct is telling me there are secrets behind this, something certainly smells fishy.
By the way, if any of you who already gave your password away to this scam, You are not totally stupid, I might have done it too if I saw that video before I saw this thread. I think you should just quit now since you account has been breached. And before you quit, could you send me all your ce and crowns and stuff, my IGN is Lorddarkness. Don't let those scammers have it.
