Just got a Gran Faust from a core run. Is this a glitch?
Apparently weapons can drop from boxes?

I haven't seen an equip drop
I haven't seen an equip drop from boxes in ages... but before they used to drop low level equips every once in awhile, and you could occasionally find some nice stuff in them. Glad to see that this still seems to be the case, just even more rare now. -.-

Well I guess it's better than SHARDS.
Nope, weapons can drop from boxes. The drop rate changes between releases. I still have a pile of Chroma Gear from the last time drop rates were a bit high.
Though that does seem an incredibly lucky drop.
