Hi. Earlier today I made a bid on some cobalt armor at the auction house. But now not only can I not find the item I bidded on at the auction house but it does not show that I ever made the bid in my bid history. I haven't been refunded any of my crowns back and I haven't received any armor. What happened?
How do I get my crowns back from an auction?

Well I recommend you check the 'bids' tab in the auction house to see what happened to the item.
Report back with details.
As I said, if you didn't win the item then I'm sure they'll send you mail (it's in-game mail system btw not your email) and the attachment of your bid.

Like I said before I can not find the item in the auction house any more and the "my bids" tab shows that I haven't made any bids recently. But I DID bid on an item and my crowns were deducted for it.

you only get outbid notices
you only get outbid notices via mail if you were offline when you got outbid. if you were online, you get a short notification in the chat log and the money should get automatically refunded. the notification is very brief, and it's real easy to miss because it looks like the notifications you get when you pick up mats in the clockworks.
your inactive (outbid and/or ended) auctions and bids get cleaned up every couple of days.

OK guys thank you for you help but its not solving my problem. I suspected that something was wrong in the first place but I'd thought I'd ask before jumping to conclusions.
Heres what happened:
-I placed a bid
-The bid never showed up in my recent bids tab
-My money is gone
-Its been hours and I never received my funds back.
I'm going to report this as a bug.
You should get new mail regarding your item being outbid.
On the mail should be an attachment of your previous bid. All you have to do is accept the attachment and you'll get your money back.
