I played this game a little in beta and now its on steam so I decided to try it again. When I got on my character was gone and the name that I used for my character was taken. Is there anyway to get these back or were they wiped?
Did characters get deleted from beta?

It's just kind of weird,
It's just kind of weird, because i've never had anyone else take my IGN. And this game is pretty small. Is there no way that my old characters name was saved or something?

You're roughly four months
You're roughly four months after full release, so unless you made some random IGN, chances are your IGN was taken already.

well i had my other user, a171, taken b4, and I thought that user was a relatively random name, but who knows?
When the game officially released you had almost two weeks to reclaim your IGN, if you missed that opportunity then you're out of luck, you can't ever get those IGNs again once they've been taken by someone else.
Characters themselves were in fact completely wiped, so no chance of that either.
