after today's patch I can't seem to connect to the server at all, anyone else having this problem?

yea its happend to me to, remember every time they upgrade the game or update it, they start experience lag and disconnect problems. don't warry this issue will be fix some time today or tomrow

Is there anything I can do on my end? I had some auction bids I wanted to check and this screwed me up.
Yesterday it was working fine, today I try to login after the game patched and I get nothing but disconnected messages.
Don't worry, you have time for the ticket as long as the summer sale is running, i. e. July 10th.
Well... it took the last patch that did this same thing to people... about 2 weeks to fix?
The summer event will end if they take that long to fix it again...
After today's patch i can login, but can't interact with any objects or players or NPCs. And can't leave current location. I'm pretty sure this is not a connection, because TF2 is working correctly.

To solve the issue with Linksys WRT54G (Firmware Version: v8.00.8):
1-Access the router page (like http://198.168.1.1)
2-You will see the tab Setup, sub-tab Basic Setup
3-Change "MTU: Manual"
4-Change "Size: 1458"
5-Click the Save Settings button

It depends on exactly why the problem is triggered in the first place.... honestly it doesn't even make sense.

...That patch is what started the problem. I can't mess with my router either so unless they fix this guess I'll just troll the boards and wait to see if they fix it.
edit: Also how long do tickets take with this company? Cause its been 2 days and no response.
It disconnected me in the middle of a boss run earlier, but I think that may have been due to lag since my IRC program lost connection as well.
