Heat to level up guild halls

Someone else suggested this idea a few months back and I'd bump that thread, but I couldn't find it with my searches.

The basic idea was that knights who weren't leveling up any gear could have heat tanks (HTs) perhaps as an optional slot like a weapon slot (100e for 30 days), and these tanks would store heat that could then be deposited at the guild hall. Guild halls would take some very large amount of heat in order to be upgraded. The details of the upgrades don't matter too much, but lower levels could be something along the lines of adding something as simple as a wandering snipe. Higher levels might be something along the lines of a gate construction (you deposit minerals to make a gate like in the arcade, then it lasts for some set amount of time).

The idea here is to give knights a bit more incentive to keep delving into the clockworks after they've got all the gear that they want.

Yep

I'm not even in a guild and I like this idea.

This idea is AWESOME. My

This idea is AWESOME. My guild is really good and these new upgrads would help it be even more fun. I like the idea about the gate. Maybe we could have our own AH in there too. Or maybe a training hall. Or best of all, a swarm of snipes wandering EVERYWHERE. Like if we had an training hall, they would walk in and out of them and they would crawl on top of everywhere, even YOU. And plus, we could even have your own snipes as pets.

Guild supremacy

I'm against the idea of people needing to be in a guild to experience "core" content (ie. Guild Gates). But I do think the guild experiences could be developed more. A prettier guild hall would be nice! A training hall would be nice, too, but I think the areas where we can wave our weapons around are limited to a certain number of people for a reason.

But yes to prettier guild halls.

@GallantPyro Having a guild

@GallantPyro
Having a guild gate is not core content, you don't need to be in a guild to have access to gates but those that which to be in a guild will have that option as an extra. In a lot of games end game content is centered around player cooperation in the form of guilds for PvP and PvE and you know what? It works, and it's fun. If you don't like guilds that's fine, but don't rain on other peoples parade.
