Is the HP Pavilion dm4-1265dx powerful enough to run Spiral Knights because every time I try to run it the screen flickers black while the resolution changes and then says unable to initialize the games graphical display.
It has:
Intel Core i5 460m (Clocked at 2.53 GHz)
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics (500-766 MHz)
6 GBs of RAM
Windows 7
I don't know if anyone's interested but I got the game working by following the Installing Intel Drivers When Blocked by OEM Drivers guide. IMO it should also be on the Technical Issues FAQ and not just on the Performance Issue FAQ. But I guess it's my fault for not checking the Performance FAQ earlier.
Hmmm, I keep the Performance issues FAQ going because I have easy edit access to it. Though, when something is common enough it can make it to the main Technical Issues FAQ. I think there's merit to your suggestion.
Try updating your video drivers(for intel is strongly recomended)
