The earlier post was a little confusing to some people...I'll edit it anyways since my earlier post wasn't fair to another weapon.

The edge line weapons Hot and Static edge could use a 5* class. Static being the only shock type sword is the only element that didn't get a 5* Fire ice poison and shadow all have their respective 5* in the brandish and cutter line.

The following suggestions are names for the line and yeah the names could use some work as i know someone will post negatives thoughts of em.
I also thought it'd be cool to have an ice type edge.

Hot Edge
Searing edge
blazing edge
volcanic edge
Inferno

Static edge
shocking edge
thunder edge
thunderbolt edge
kirin

cold edge
freezing edge
frost edge
frostbite edge
Ice Age

also a Vial that causes confuse or blind can come in handy in arenas where there are too many annoying enemies like mecha knights volttrode and gun puppies.

@monkeyman1, Actually, you are incorrect. There is already a fire element five star sword and Cautery is just normal.

@Kandy: I agree a extension of static edge would be nice or a new shock sword line.

how am i incorrect? if you read my first post carefully it says "fire ice poison and shadow all have one" meaning they all have a 5* class . im saying they should give static edge line a 5* class type too since it's the only lightening type sword or like Rebirth says make a new line of lightening type sword. also cautery isn't a lightening element sword or an element sword at all, so i don't know what you are pointing out with that one...

<.< umm did you not read the title? Shock sword is a lightening elemental sword the only sword of its element type but whatever. the point is they should expand it or make a new sword of its element.

all it said what static edge expansion and the OP stated that it was the only elemental sword not to have a 5* upgrade which is false since those links were to elemental swords with no 5* upgrade path

if anything edit the post to clear up this confusion

Would love to see the Searing

Would love to see the Searing Edge line expanded. Was pretty annoyed when I realized I had a dead end sword. Aesthetically the sword looks badass & I love that it can flame on the 3rd hit of the combo instead of having to wait for powerup to cause fire status.

There is just no point to ever buy/craft a sword that only goes to 2 stars. Period. Which makes all the sub 2 star dead end swords worthless. You can start the Calibur line after descending through your first 100 mist. Call me crazy, but I think all of the weapons should have full 5 star lines. I would love a 5 star shovel...

One stars weps that can be upgraded up to five star is a bit rediculus.That's why they changed haze bombs to two star bombs.

@gerryw173 I was going to say the same thing. THat would be like Haze Bomb all over again, but with SWORDS. Bad idea, because swords are the most used items. Besides, the Edge series is basically like the newbie brandish line swords. I'd maybe like to see a freeze and shadow version of the edge weapons, but nothing going up to 5*

Edit: I do agree though, the aesthetic appeal of the Edge weapons are awesome. Too bad there isn't a weapon costume slot... but that sounds like a stupid idea anyway and there isn't much point except looks of a weapon. The current costume slot makes sense though, it's a full body costume change.
