Playtime Question

I'll preface this question by saying that I've played every final fantasy and I played WoW for years. I've grown accustom weeks of nonstop grinding/farming for 1 item

If I want to keep playing this game for free, am I correct in assuming that I have to literally gather mats for items then stop playing the game for an entire day (or more for the higher star items), use my 100 ME to buy CE and repeat this till I can craft my items?

It's such an alien concept for me to have to literally not play the game in order to...play the game...

Is there something in-game I can do (like a coliseum or practice runs or something) that I can do while waiting for ME to recharge? I really hope I'm missing something.

I tried making a new knight and running dungeons on that while my other one gathered ME but my second knight seemed to share the same ME as my first so that didn't work. Would I get banned for making a completely new free steam account on another computer and using that account to pass the time? (I have a desktop and a laptop. both on the same network though)

You dont buy CE for ME.. ..

You dont buy CE for ME.. .. ..
You buy CE for Crowns..

To get somwhere as a free player, simply use your ME for elevator fees, every day..
When you have enough crowns, buy CE.. DONT use CE for elevators of resurectuions.
When you have enough CE and Crowns.. craft stuff :)

As long as the two accounts

As long as the two accounts are never played together on the same computer, their mist energy will not be linked. If you log onto both of your accounts on the same computer, their mist energy will forever be linked no matter what computer you use in the future unless you pay real money for energy on one of those accounts.

As a free player, your time on the game is somewhat limited by your mist energy and crowns earned. If you're able to earn enough crowns, you can buy CE (crystal energy) on the in-game market that you can use for more playtime. If you do not have enough crowns to buy more energy, then your only options are to stop playing until your mist energy recharges or to buy CE for real life money.

Also, once you get 2 star items and want to craft 3-5 star items, you are required to either buy CE on the in-game market or with real money. Crafting 3-5 star items require more than the 100 mist energy cap that you get for free, so you cannot simply wait for enough energy to craft those items.

For the 2 accounts issue: So

For the 2 accounts issue:

So as long as I kept account A with computer A and account B with computer B and never mix the 2, I can have 2 accounts. This is legal right? Don't wanna get banned or something for it.

For the crafting issue:

I think I get the idea now. So basically you earn enough crowns to buy all the energy you need upfront and then craft it.

Thanks
