By default, Attack Damage is NOT shown when you first start the game.
I think this should be turned ON by default. Showing attack damage really helps when learning which types of attack are suited to the different monster classes (eg. Shadow vs. Gremlins).
Not many new players I know check all the options and therefore they won't realize why their piercing sword is only doing 6 damage to a slime, when they could change weapons and hit 100+!
If you turned it on by default, beginners will more easily work out how the weapon system works. They can always turn it off once then know what kills what, if it is annoying for them to have to see it.
