Ok so i just came out of your latest bullet hell,
Wow, amazing, its sure to appeal to tohou fans.

But were there any instructions anywhere that we were suppose to let them hit each other with the missiles?...
I died 3 times before i figured out wad the heck i was suppose to do.

something like a permanent sign must be around,
this is not as intuitive as hit the bell kill the snarby.....

Thanks for the new boss, i enjoyed it, but i dun foresee myself going again anytime soon.
10k worth of energy for revive.. yikes...

You're complaining about

You're complaining about dying, when you didn't know what you were doing. Go back and do it a few more times, and you wont be dying near as much.

nah i am fine with dying

i just had no idea i was suppose to let them hit each other with the missiles,

Yea, sure if i go down NOW, i would know wad to do, thats not the point of my suggestion.

but everyone who runs it for the first time with no clue,
would benefit from something
that explains the brand new game mechanism.

i am just using number of death as an example on how long it took me to figure out wad was going on =p

The same could be said for

The same could be said for any boss in any game. If you don't know what you're doing, you're going to die. And on your first run, you probably wont know what you're doing. The only way you'll know, is if you read the experiences or guides of people who have actually done the boss.

Not True

Jelly king is straight forward, kill it, and stop it from healing, kill it.

Snarbolax was obvious, One Snarby, one gigantic bell in the center,
and the purpose of the bells have been explained clearly before hand,
it just beckons you to whack it.

Havent done Vanaduke

For the twins, your first instinct is to hide from the missiles,
clear the rocks and hope for a floor button or something,

The worst part was i had no idea that those 2 were the bosses.
They looked like furniture, and i was wondering why there would be mobs before the boss room for this boss

Some people (like me) dun like spoilers, we go in,
we dun want to know what is in there,
we want to be shocked and awed for the fun of it, doesnt help if the level confuses instead.

If you don't like dying to a

If you don't like dying to a new boss then wait until someone else has braved the dangers and then go in after you know what you are doing. Other people like braving new and unknown dangers so it is up to them to discover how to defeat the new bosses.

Jelly King is not straightforward, I don't think any new players who go into the jelly king fight without prior knowledge would be able to put together that you need to save up poison and curse vials for the fight. One of which is extremely rare and the other is quite useless outside of Jelly King.

If you didn't want to be confused you should have collected information first, if you went in without first knowing what to expect then I don't see why you would expect to not be confused.

Sheesh

@Xiax
Why are you repeating points xiax?

its not that i dun like dying,
i repeat, i dun mind dying and paying energy for revive
even if it cost 1000CE.

I dun like to read spoilers(collect information)

its just how long it takes to figure out the boss,
Jelly king required me to jump out and reequip for a second round, yea, thats fine,
but at least if you played the game properly before hand,
you would know that there is a way to stop monsters from healing,
healing monsters are common elsewhere in clockwork.

Roarmulus Twins are completely new.. forget the part about me dying, thats a rough timeframe

think of it this way, i was pointlessly killing scuttle bots,
and looking for red or blue floor buttons under those rocks,
to turn off the 2 twins, for a good 15 mins

What is wrong with you ppl? would it hurt you to have a signboard
somewhere in the level telling people something about the bosses?

@Noctuelle
its fun =p
really fun.

I don't see how figuring out

I don't see how figuring out what to do with RT can be a problem. The concept of having to switch walls to allow rockets through while dodging respawning mobs is clearly introduced just before the elevator to boss level. This is as big a signboard as it gets, after a few obligatory whacks on bosses and the immune ~ping~ sounds next course of action should be pretty obvious.

There are a billion things

There are a billion things about this game that you have to look up in the wiki. At least you can look this up in the wiki. I'd much prefer defense and resist mechanics being more transparent.

Ah.. you know wad

i dun like talking to brick walls,

A sign is needed. thanks

@silty
that shld be included in the advance training hall,

maybe the advance training hall can be expanded to be a few levels deep
that requires you to complete a certain objective to learn about something at each level

Personally

I love having to figure out how to defeat a boss. It reminds me of the games I used to play as a kid.

But in the depth before, there is a section that was set up (almost) the exact same. the 'Bots were spawning at the top, while you needed to manipulate barrier switches to let missiles destroy the blocks. Was that not enough?

dude the instructions for

dude the instructions for beating a boss are pretty much laid out in the levels prior to the boss

Snarbolax= the bells scattered throughout the levels

Jelly King= pretty straight forward just that the level prepares you to be zerged by jellies

Vanaduke= the water wells

Roarmulus Twins= using the rockets the various "turrets" fire to hit things and to use the yellow/purple gates

you cant blame OOO for your ineptitude

Most bosses do have their

Most bosses do have their weaknesses and clues to their tactics telegraphed to the player in the runup levels, but I really don't think it's as clear in the Munitions Factory. I don't remember more than one or two occasions when I used the static rocket launchers in the Factory to destroy something else.

well the first time i went

well the first time i went there i saw two big puppies launching [stuff] and barrers covering the party so it was pretty much obious that you need to make them hit each other. its a tipical duo fight in gaming. even TLOZ OOT have one. from now you will know that if you see twins you need to make those hit each other
