Guild Bank

Recently, the three officers of my guild were discussing how much easier it would be to have all of our resources located in one place. Multiple people having access to a singular account violates the TOS, so we'd like to suggest a Guild Bank to be installed in the Guild Hall.

Someone already suggested something similar to this, but they had said that everyone would have access to it. We, personally, don't feel that's such a great idea. So we'd like to suggest that a Guild Bank be implemented that only people with Officer (and of course Founder) status would have access to. Or, alternatively, being able to set what can be accessed by each Guild Rank and what can only be accessed by Officers.

As in, Guild Member A wants 7 Light Shards. Light Shards are 1* mats and easy to come by, so the Guild Officers had decided to set 1* mats to free access. Guild Member B wants 300 CE to make up the missing CE to craft a 5* recipe. They should bring that before the Officers so that can be discussed and either approved or declined or haggled.

We're not trying to be rude, or stingy, but say Guild Member B already had a full set of 5* equips and everyone had access to the guild bank... they can go in and take that 300 CE, no questions asked. Guild Member C comes along and needs 200 CE to make their first 5* equip, but the Guild Bank is now empty because B already got there.

See what we're saying?

And of course, Guild Officers should always be up-to-date (we understand that's not always possible with large guilds, but we're currently running a guild of 13 [my desk it littered with sticky notes of everyone's equips and what recipes they're currently searching for xD]) with what their members are currently running with. If we knew C didn't have any 5* equips, but B was full and just wanted to try something different, then we'd likely haggle/negotiate with B, offering them a different amount or some amount of CR to buy some of that missing energy. Everyone needs to have a fair chance at the more rare/valued items/recipes/possible equips/CE/CR that the Guild Bank has to offer.

In our case, it will just be us officers supplying the bank with materials and whatnot. We wouldn't ask the others to pitch in. If they want to, great, if not, not a big deal at all! If a member wants to swap a material of the same level from their inventory for one of the ones in the bank, that's grand as well. We just want there to be a nice selection for everyone.

...At this point I've just started to ramble, it seems. I hope I've made a clear enough point as to why we'd like this, and why we'd like it to be strictly accessible by Officers OR have the option to set what can be accessed by each Guild Rank. I hope that I've in no way offended anyone with the suggestion that it not be accessible by everyone, but I really think it's in a Guild's best interest to track and distribute such things evenly. =)

Angelgod, you'd have to be a total douche to do that. =P It would be pretty awful of Guild Officers to force the members to put in materials in the first place. Did you not see the part where I said our officers will be supplying the banks?

And the point of the Guild Bank is to make it easier to distribute to members. Say I have Primal Ore, but the other officers don't. Instead of having to wait for the next time I come on, a different Officer can get it out of the bank for the member. The entire reason for my post was to keep a Guild Bank/Treasury from being exploitable/stolen from by dishonest people. Hopefully if someone has Officer rank you already can trust them enough to not do something like that.
