Energy Abuse , Unbalanced Level , Suggestion and Limitation (PETITION)

remember .. players have control ... but only in groups

Hell every body , i come here peacefully to know your oppinion about a list of things who can be changed ..

1: energy abuse.
energy should not be used for elevator... but for revive and craft only it should be good (maybe lower craft energy cost too)
because of that limit ... you slow down and stop the gameplay of player (good way to make money ... but i think the game is paid since the time they making this)

2:unbalanced level.
i leaved in my game desing class that a player should be rewarded for actions and efforts ... why we get less heat and money at tier 3 than tier 2?

3: suggestion.
a magic wand who can be used only to heal 1/2 heart of a player should be great (whitout attack function on it)
it would make class effect of medic , and at this low healt level , it will prevent imunity during core of battle .. will also avoid to die at the next mini jelly who hit you because he was hiden behing a small tree or part of level.

4: limitation.
i guess that everyone hate have to pay a vrey huge amount of crown or real money for energy .. why not raising the mist energy to 250 and reducing the real price by 1/4 ... or just droping elevator price to 2 ...that will grant a player to do the acivement (from tier 1 to the core)
whitout having to need important amount of gameplay.

i played from a couple of week and i did ammas lot of energy that i almost used all on the vanaduke dungeon .. and when we have faced vanaduke to beat him ... poof .. server reboot ... what a nice 3000 energy waster and it see there no admin or gm on spiral knight so we ddint get assiatance or a wrap back to him for all the effort and energy used .

i wish to start a petition and everyone with me who ask for some change rase the hand , put your name here and get on the room of of heaven where there grass and puppy statue down the auction house sunday at 20:00 o clock pm (utc-5 canada usa hours)

a thing who can make change is if you dont pay during this whole day ... and after ...

with all the energy on sale .. its hard to dont see that they dont make over 5000$ a day

CE is how they make money, be

CE is how they make money, be glad they have a market where you can easily exchange cr with players who want to sell their ce. Most games you have to rely on the "honor system" which ... isn't very safe <_<

No content is locked away, and once you get good you can even dive profitably up to 7k per 100 ce. imo this is a fine balance which we already have.

The price of CE in irl money is also ridiculously cheap making this a very cheap micro transaction game too. 5 bucks is 1600 ce which is enough to craft an item from 2 to 5 star with ce to spair. Compare that to the 20 dollar pay only items that ruin the game balance of other "free to play" games and OOO looks like they are philanthropists.

imo - sk has the game economy balanced pretty well. If you have a problem with cr : ce conversion, it's caused by the players not OOO.

After the first 1500ce, why didn't you exclaim "Man, I'll just cut my losses right now rather then continue to throw good money after bad, and try again tomorrow"?

I went to a car dealership they had a promotion "Free Plasma Tv" then they told me I need to buy a new car to get the plasma tv and its only certain cars. Can you write them a letter complaining? They obviously said free.

Oh just to add dont you think if your topic has suggestion written on the title it should be posted in suggestion area?

My thoughts

So I read your petition and for the most part here are my thoughts on it:

1. If we are not using energy for elevators then, by default, we would have to raise energy for reviving just to balance things out. Heck, OOO might even be tempted to raise crafting energy costs again if this was implemented (Btw, if anyone from OOO is reading this, PLEASE don't raise crafting energy costs again. That would kill us.) Aside from that, Elevator energy costs is what keeps us from zooming to the end of the game too fast, creating a steady pace of play. Take that away and I think you would have to raise the difficulty level just to keep everything at that pace. Is being stuck doing only one run per day for free slow? Heck yes! But you haven't really put forward an alternative that would speed this up AND keep us from "winning" the game in one day.

2. As far as Tier 3 vs Tier 2 money making is concerned, I can't really say here. I'm still stuck on Tier 2 trying to make the money to get Star 4 stuff TO get to Tier 3. If it gets worse after Tier 2, I can only take your word for it.

3. Good suggestion, though I think it would slow down the game a lot from people waiting after every battle for the "heal bot" to cap them off.

4. While I agree that CE costs really needs to be somewhat managed, I don't think your solution to this is it. For $2.45, I could get 750 Energy and the pricing scales nicely enough that I don't feel the need for the prices to be cut by 1/4. As for the Mist Energy being raised by 250 and Elevator costs to 2, I'll repeat myself and ask how you propose to balance this all out as far as pacing goes.

Lastly, I'm with Angelgod here, I want to see that video! For the most part, you should really need 300 energy to go through it all and that's assuming that you don't die. Ever.

Anyway, that's my thoughts.

3000 Energy? Anyone with a brain would have stopped reviving once the cost reached 20~40.

Vanaduke isn't worth even the minimum amount of energy it takes to get to him.

Assuming this isn't another satire piece...

1. No. It's an important part of the game, removing elevator costs would mean you can play indefinitely... which means very little revenue for OOO and the game shuts down.

2. T3 pays less then T2 for the same reason T2 pays less then T1... you were in the first half of the tier and comparing it to the 2nd half of the previous tier. First half of a tier the reward is reaching Basil, 2nd half is crowns and heat.

3. Healing weapons or class would be bad and take away the strategic aspect of the game. There's no challenge if you can heal completely after every hit.

4. Mist is fine where its at. Would be nice if we could craft 3* items again on Mist but I'd rather the crafting cost got lowered instead of Mist cap being raised.

And also... why in the world did you spend 3k CE on revives?! When it hit 40 you should have quit.
