Right now, we can switch weapons by using the "next weapon" and "previous weapon" hotkeys. I want there to also be hotkeys for "switch to weapon 1", "switch to weapon 2", "switch to weapon 3", and "switch to weapon 4". This would make it far more convenient to switch to the correct weapon, without the button you need to press depending on which weapon you already have equipped. It would also let you switch in a single click, rather than sometimes needing at least two clicks.
It would also fix the problem of trying to go to the next weapon, clicking the button for it, having the game not seem to take it, so I'll click it again, and then it accepts both clicks and goes past the weapon I wanted, so that I still don't have the right weapon out. That happens all the time, and it's annoying.
I would really love this added. I have 4 weapons and very often struggle with latency over weapon selection <_<
Currently I use the mouse wheel to rotate my weapons, and I'll slide down, and get the weapon I would have selected if I slid up <_< This can suck because the reason for carrying 4x weapons is to have the weapon I need for any given situation. I slide down from my shadowtech alchemer to my voltech alchemer to take out a turret while circling it, and end up pulling out my callahan or bomb instead, clicking to fire just stopped my movement completely >_<
