Energy Turrets? Why?
From the update notes:"- Optional energy turrets have been installed in some areas of the Jelly Farm 2."
Just to see what the heck he was talking about, I ran a Jelly Farm 2 level in T1.
These are apparently the "mecha turrets" from the preview (I think - didn't play the the preview, so couldn't tell for sure). They are automatic turrets, costing 5 energy to activate (versus the 3 from the preview according to the wiki). They will automatically target any enemy that gets within range, and have a fairly powerful laser weapon (they'll 1-hit jellies on T1, at least).
The real question here: why put them in Jelly Farm 2? Is there someone out there who has complained about that particular map being too hard?
So I've spent a few energy to find out what they are. But I'll never use them again, unless they appear somewhere where I actually need help surviving (like danger rooms or arenas).
File this "improvement" under "answering the question nobody asked".
Maybe they are testing it, using the players as subjects, to see if these turrets are actually a good addiction, or just a broken feature.
Its amusing to use a mecha in T3, they die so damn quickly.
I really want to use those turrets at least once. When I first found them in the wiki I thought they might be controllable but this is fine.

"Its amusing to use a mecha in T3, they die so damn quickly."
I know, my guildmaster's mecha knight lasted like 5 seconds when we were fighting Snarbie, I'll never understand why Three Rings will not implement turrets and mecha knights in other levels AND buff the for tiers 2&3....
Optional means either :
You spend energy on it to defend you like the Mecha Knight would.
OR
You just leave it there boxed up. I say you just ignore it. :P But it IS quite helpful. :3

Nerf the crowns for Jelly Farm levels and put energy leeching bots there :D Waste more of your money :D
ahaha, I'm just kidding, I'm sure its for testing purposes. I'd even like to use one if I happen to see it.

These things should cost credits to activate, not energy. Last thing we need is another pointless energy sink (this raises the cost of energy in crowns, btw).
The Turrets just show u what the pulsar first should be .... q.q
They are quite helpful, and I agree, why the heck put them in one of the easiest places in the game? Put them in a danger room as said, arenas perhaps, or regular rooms.
