I love to see who you guys regard as the best guild.
I knew back when I first started a lot of people regarded Guild as the best now that times have changed who is on top now.
What do you guys think is the best guild in Spiral knights?

This is kind of a silly topic. The best guild is the one that fits your personality/style. For some people, that means a guild with only people they know in real life. For others, it means a guild with constant chatter. Some even like their solo guild so they don't get spammed by random guild invites.
If you're asking what guild has the best players, I don't think such a thing currently exists in this game. While some guilds tout themselves as high-end because most or all of their members have 4-5 star equipment, the sad fact is that half of those geared players are still bad at the game. This includes your own guild hollafamer; I won't group with half the players in active because they're terrible.
So far no guild I've heard of has implemented any kind of trial/application process; they all just randomly invite players regardless of actual skill.

Tough call on "best". I don't think I can really comment on that, but there's amore than a few people I've had plenty of fun with. I've had a lot of great runs with Active lately and the bunch I hang around with are stellar people. I've also enjoyed the company of the Gurrens, Delicious Bacon and Obsidian Guild.
Though I think my favorite guilds are some of the old ones that still float around from Preview. Spiral Gods Alliance is a guild whose old members are responsible with the concept of introducing organized guilds to this game. Then there's the Irregulars, who show up rather sparingly these days, but are a solid bunch of people. Don't forget some of those quality knights in Luna Dial either (woah woah, yeah yeah) either. My personal favorite guild (aside from my own, of course) is One Knight Stand.

I somewhat agree with everyone's opinion, even Metaphysic's opinion, even though he talks about my guild negatively.
I know that some our guild mates need improving, that's exactly why they're in our guild, we have great members than can help
them improve their skills. and that's the point of a guild, is to help each other, and that's what we as guild strive for.
PS: "Daena" guild will always be better than any other, disregarding everyone elses opinion. Thank you. (I am looking for anyone to challenge me in my fact)

This thread is one of those thinly veiled "Who is the best ____" topics where the OP desperately hopes his own name will be mentioned by a bunch of random people. Mission accomplished I guess.
As stated before, the best guild differs for every player. The best guild is the one that fits your personal style/preferences.
If you're asking which guild has the most skilled players, the answer is that there is no way to measure such a thing. The only thing you can safely say is that no guild has attempted to accumulate talent through an application/trial process, so even guilds with 4-5* geared players are still filled with many unskilled players.
I've been in a lot of elite guilds over my long gaming career, and SK just isn't very conducive to the formation of one. There's not enough guild activities, benefits or even challenge that would encourage skilled players to band together under one roof. If they ever implement party sizes larger than 4 or more than a rudimentary guild interface, this may change.

@Metaphysic Not going to disagree with you as you make valid points. I understand this thread is like asking what is the best gun or what is the best sword. It really what you look for in a guild that makes it the best. Also of course I want my guild's name to be mention that what you strive for to gain that respect. I ain't holding a gun to anyone's head and saying "you better say Active is the best" its up to the players who they think is the best. For you a guild that does a trial run for players is something you consider a good guild consists of. I am doing that for my guild now that its caped at 100 anyone who goes inactive the player who wants to take his or her spot must go thru a trial run. I really like Echo Of Silence I think they got a great guild with solid players as well as leaders who know what they are doing.
