I am sorry to say that Wing has been closed for the time being, as I, Aeca, cannot put a sincere enough effort into keeping it running as I would have wished to. I have too many real life issues going on, such as school, and work, and I would rather not lie and simply log in for 15 minutes every day just inviting and promoting people. This is not how a guild leader should manage his/her guild. Therefore, with utmost honesty and disappointment, solely in myself, I hereby declare Wing officially disbanded.

Thank you to the thirty-or-so of you who have shown interest in Wing, and I hope you can find other guilds to stay with. I am deeply sorry for all of this. I will still log on occasionally, but as simply Aeca, so feel free to keep me on your friends lists.

I truly doubt the possibility of ever fully returning to Spiral Knights myself, but I am not certain. I do like the game, but there are many complications which restrain me from being the leader I would have wanted to be, along with my wife. Who knows, but perhaps one day Wing shall take flight once more.

I know we have very few members at the moment (and I hope to change that soon enough), but I know this will come up eventually anyways. Also, now that the NDA is lifted, we are free to expose our SK interest wherever we wish. That being said, I would like to introduce the official Spiral Knights Wing website!

Since Google has yet to re-enable my site, I have decided to create a temporary one without any links (since adding links of any sort is the trigger which causes your site to be disabled without reason).

maxdrive, judging by the timing of your post, I'm guessing you only saw the cleaned-out original-post of mine that had nothing in it save the link to the currently-broken Wing site. Please regard the temporary site I have created so that you can see what was originally here on this thread.

Yeah, three in the last two days. I suspect this is due to the upcoming launch, and I have no doubts that there are more to come the closer we get to the launch. We might even hit a dozen members by the time the launch comes.

I was planning on making some forums.

I was planning on making some forums come the release, however Nyxeth brought the idea up as well, and so with the interest in it I'm contemplating just doing it now. They wont actually be integrated into the site itself, but rather separate ones, with some free host I can find (I know quite a few). I don't think Google Sites supports any sort of forums integration, but I'll look intro that. It would just be much simpler, and probably much more user-friendly for everyone, with a separate forum. But yeah, I was definitely planning on a forum, I just didn't think it would be very useful until we reached a dozen-or-so members. Perhaps I will get started on some nice shiny new forums, as soon as I finish some assignments up. :)

Update: Well I went ahead and just created some forums for now, so I'll do all the updating later. I have also updated the site with an "Other" page for miscellaneous stuff, such as the link to the forums.

Please note that you cannot simply register and be activated for the Wing forums. You must register, and then wait for me to activate you. This way we wont have any intruders. :)

The official Wing Memberlist will be located on the site itself. This is the only easy to ensure complete security and modularity.

Some notes to future [R]ecruits:

I've decided to make exceptions for [M]ember promotions prior to the wipe, due to the fact that only [M]ember-ranked Knights of Wing (Winged) are allowed a forum account, and such a thing is very useful for communicating during the downtime. (I doubt there to be any more applications before the launch anyways.)

The fact that anyone is able to join Wing, and access its internal community, upon only one simple agreement can be unsettling. This is why I have decided that advancing from a [R]ecruit to a [M]ember is going to be made a much more daunting task, sometime in the near future, as well as a requirement for be granted a forum account.

Distruptor and Mainmax are the only two left to register, or notify me that they do not want to register for such an account. If you guys see this, please just post and tell me what's up. Thanks!

I may need to set up an application-based recruitment system.

We're getting a lot more members than I had expected, and so I may need to set up an application-based recruitment system in the not-so-distant future.

For now, I would like all applicants to actually confirm that they have read and accepted the Regulations. Most of the admittance requests I have received so far simply ask, well, for admittance; they do not actually confirm their hopeful acceptance of the Regulations. That is not to say such a thing is bad, it just causes a bit of otherwise unnecessary delay on both parties' parts.

There were also a bunch of loose strings on the site, of which have been cleaned up. I've been updating the Memberlist so much that I have neglected to do so with the rest of the site!
