Can anyone think of a similar MMO to Spiral Knights? It's Saturday and I need something to play while my Mist Energy is recharging, other than trolling the forums.

I suggest Phantasy Star
I suggest Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst, Kinda similar to Spiral Knights (Action RPG, Hub World with Dungeon Crawling stages, Gear and Player Skill based).
Lunia Online is kinda similar too. I never actually played it, but appears to be a nice (grinding) game.
Check Youtube for some gameplay videos.
EDIT: Oh yeah, Torchlight is good too (but no online here, just like Diablo 2).

league of legends is a a bit
league of legends is a a bit different but it has the same action-based style thats casual friendly but still has A LOT of room for hardcore gamers to play.
vindictus is VERY similar to spiral knights but its a bit more hardcore. theres A LOT more grinding involves and even though there are only a few classes to play for now, SK has only 1 class so even that's an improvement lol.

larkhill what are you on? League of legends is an entirely different genre of and certainly not friendly to casuals. SK is an RPG, with LoL being a MOBA, not to mention every mechanic of the game being different.
Phantasy Star Online is a good game, though to play Blue Burst you have to use SCHTHACK, and unless they made huge leaps and bounds since i stopped playing, the servers are, at best, unstable and the community fairly small, with huge chunks of content missing from the game (through no fault of SCHT, Sonic Team/SEGA are to blame). You can also find Phantasy Star Online EP 1&2 for Gamecube, though its not as smooth to play as Blue Burst.

I play on SCHTHACK, but only casually.
The servers are very stable right now (except the "server for tests" ones), but the community still kinda small (~200 players online at the same time right now). They are slowing adding the japanese content too, like quests and some items.
It's a old game, but it's still a awesome game.

When i quit, which was about 2-3 years ago, the servers were stable at times or really unstable, i hope they fixed the server sync issue but nothing is a guarantee. When i was playing they were still adding japanese content, but the problem is that all the content wasnt released, so the game will never be "finished". Sad to see such a great game slowly die, but hopefully PSO2 will be as good as BB/1&2 and be nothing like PSU.

I think this is a good question! I've played a bit of Guild Wars 2 and Tera. GW2 has a similar sandbox, do what you want approach to the game, I'd say. TERA has very action based combat, unlike most MMOs. Neither are awfully much like SK but they both have good qualities that they share with SK.

Thanks for express comments guys, I'll look at what are these mmo's as soon as possible.
I think I shoild have told more about what impressed me when I got hooked by Spiral Knights.
I very liked the graphics, shiny shades and colors, well designed knights, monsters, environment, filling of rank missions.
Also, I liked the plot, discovering new places and well written descriptions for gear, rank missions, signs.
The combat system was easy to understand and yet I was curious to know how weapons/armors/shields work and how it use gear properly.
I wasn't afraid of grinding, but in reasonable limits.
I can and I do play on hard difficulties, I never refuse to have a challenge in pve, however tier 3 on elite difficulty seemed a bit easy for me.
I guess I filled in everything...
All I can think about is Diablo 2, but not it's not really an MMO.
