i have:
- 4* Calibur (almost lvl 9) with High dmg against slime
- 4* ash tail cap with shock resistants High (going for Vog Cub Cap)
- 4* ash tail coat with shock resistants High (going for Vog Cub Coat)
- 4* gun Firo Driver

I heard Grey Owlite Shield is good, but i already have 2 times High shock resistants (is maximum i think) and the Vog Cub set is resistants again fire (dont now how much, is it maximum ?)
so dont think thats the best option
1) Which shield can i use best for my equiptment?

2) Is there an UV or something like that, that works even when you dont press X. Like permanent Sword Damage Bonus or permanent shadow defence increase.

3) Which UV is best for me with my equiptment

well the owlite shield is

well the owlite shield is good, but you already have a ton of elemental resistance. wouldn't it make more sense to have some shadow or piercing resistance? you're pretty weak against certain undead attacks, some jellies, beasts, AND fiends if you go for that. i suggest you go on the wikki and pick out a shadow/piercing shield that works for you though. my knowledge of shields is fairly limited.

Is a Barbarous Thorn Shield

Is a Barbarous Thorn Shield an option ?
low change for an UV and i have a Mighty Defender
so maybe an Aegis or Heater Shield is a good option

Aegis and Barbarous Thorn Shield have piercing defence and my gear and Heater Shield have elemental defence but a heater shield also has freeze resistance

You don't need to worry too

You don't need to worry too much about piercing and shadow is only a problem if... well if you have problems with monsters who deal shadow damage. Owlite line is nice but like you said, its probably a bit redundant at this point. Barbarous Thorn Shield will give you a Medium attack bonus to make you even stronger. The Dread Skelly Shield gives you something that won't be destroyed by Shadow attacks.

For your UV question, only attack speed bonuses and attack bonuses will be applied without putting up your shield. I don't think any of those come as UVs on shields though. The Barbarous Thorn Shield that I mentioned natrually gives a Medium bonus to Sword Attack though so maybe you'd want to consider that.

As far as I'm aware all of the defenses on a shield are only in affect when the shield is actually being used.
