So I have two caliburs; 1 is medium vs undead and the other, very high vs undead. So I was decided on wether to go 2 hit some zombies with the cold iron, or have a boosted cold iron (levi with the very high vs undead). In your experiences, is 1 hitting undeads worth it? or should i go 2 hit undead + 20 damage to every other monster? Btw, I have a divine which makes graveyard very easy and I think the Cold Iron looks chill as hell.
COLD IRON vs LEVI (THERES UV INVOLVED!)
I'm not sure what you're referring to. You're not going to one shot anything with a Levi or CIV unless you're talking about charge attack and even then you're going to need to shiv or push to a corner to get all 3 hits landing on either weapon. As far as D25 goes there isn't much difference between the two. Levi takes 1 extra swing. At D26 Levi charge attack doesn't 1 shot (solo only). Don't know about the rest. Too lazy to test and there are wayyy too many variables at play.
Here are some numbers for you though:
Depth 25
Levi Swing: 195
LEVI Vhigh DMG vs Undead (vhigh UV): 249
CIV Max DMG vs Undead (high UV): 255
LEVI Max DMG vs Undead (vhigh UV + med armor): 276
LEVI charge: 362
CIV Max DMG vs Undead (high UV) charge: 451x3
Sorry, I had a blonde moment there, I realize you cant stack a very high damage uv with a very high damage uv on a sword.
GeminiDreams, please tell me your in-game name. I like you have wolver coat and divine helm. I'm adding people who have the exact same set. Have about 10 of us.
ty for the numbers eek5
The ability to one-hit monsters is more important the less players you have in your party.
As someone who has been building themselves up in order to try and be able to one-hit most enemies with my Glacius'/Acheron's charge attack I can tell you that I drop my Skolver Cap (of which I'm wearing the full Skolver + Barbarous shield) in favor of my Divine Veil (though my Veil has ele max where my cap has no UV) when I'm traveling in parties. The enemies have more Hp, true. But also the damage output to the party from myself is clearly smaller when I'm traveling with others than the damage output to the party from myself when I'm with myself.
This means that the extra % damage increase is effectively lowered since 3 other people are contributing damage. One-hitting monsters becomes less of a concern since others are helping as well.
Beyond this, there is also the issue of your budget. Does your CE budget allow the creation of a specialized item? Or should you be going for something you'll be using all the time and thus should have a more balanced spread?
