So this is the only weapon I have at the moment (well and a Snarble Barb), and I haven't actually gotten to JK yet, but I've seen a video, and I just don't think it would be possible to solo him with a heavy sword.
I am a n00b though, so I could be mistaken, I hope I am anyway.

Has anyone done this? Or think that it's very possible?

On a somewhat side note. I do really want an Acheron, so I may get a Nightblade in the near future, but I also really want to keep Khorovod as my main. I don't see those two working well together though, unless it's possible to completely avoid the "workplace" levels with the annoying little demon things? Those little buggers are the only reason I carry the Barb around.

It depends on the sword

It depends on the sword really. I don't know many of the bigger swords out there but something like the Gran Faust and Divine Avenger can slaughter Jelly King. Its probably best that you don't use the second swipe either but rather attack, shield and back up a bit, and if there's an opening attack again.

Khorovod isnt the best

For jelly king, there are usually a lot of mobs that are spawned, so using the Khorovod isnt the best choice usually unless you are very good at timing shields. Otherwise, id suggest you get a nightblade or just a plain old calibur to deal with jelly king

Well....

Yeah he can be soloed, but I usually do that with a Vile striker since the poison effect prevents him from recovering health.

Plus my armor and helm are piercing resistant so I just spam the JK until he dies with Curse vials and Vile striker.

I don't think it will be possible with your sword without resurrecting a lot unless you got already some heavy armor and helmet set, the sword is kind of slow and with no poison effect, you you don't do enough damage fast, JK will never die

With status effects

- Get 3 poison, 2-3 curse if possible, fire/shock, and 3 pills.

- The main tough part will be getting him to phase 2 (where he starts going into the invincible pink spinning thing). Use up to 2 poisons in the first phase.
- When he starts going invincible, chase him while charging, then try to lunge into him so you can get as many of the small rocks to hit as possible. Curse when you have a chance, and repeat (though, don't stack curses).

Phase 2 is easy if you have curse, but the first phase, you really have to try to do well :x

They'll keep spawning. Kind

They'll keep spawning.

Kind of not related, but I almost solo'd Vanaduke with my CTR:Medium Khorovod and Callahan.
I accidentally put Khorovod in my gun slot instead of where my DA was, so I lost my blitz needle XD
