So as you may have guessed by me posting in this forum, I have been playing this game for three days. Having an extra-ordinarily short patience for games that have limited options every day you play, I'm curious weather or not the Starter Pack is actually worth it in your opinion.

My rationale for getting said starter pack is that 'Hey, I didn't pay for this game to start with, so why shouldn't I get the starter pack? It's like buying the game itself.' And if the 10 energy elevator fee isn't clue enough, that means that I would be able to explore a whopping 750 floors in this game to my hearts content, plus more depending on how long it takes me to burn through my mist energy on top of that.

I know that I probably will spend most of my energy on crafting, but here's what I really want to know. If you were given 20 dollars on steam when playing this game, would you spend it on the starter pack?

I have!

Given the things that come with the pack, it's actually pretty worth it. I did not regret buying it. I'm not sure if you're 100% against spending money, but if you were spending it on something, it might as well be this. Just my opinion!

The starter pack is pretty

The starter pack is pretty cool, but I did find the equipment included really disappointing. I wish they would get it through their heads that 1* stuff is worthless, odd numbered star equipment is for making the current Tier easier, and T1 can be soloed with starting equipment. It would be nice to be able to upgrade them to higher tiers.

The equips are pretty

The equips are pretty lackluster as soon as you get to haven, but the energy and trinket/weapon slots go a long way

Buy it.

I haven't bought the starter pack yet, but I spent more than $20 before the starter pack was an option and I don't regret it at all. It's nice to play a few more levels without worrying about it, craft my 3-5* gear without saving up CE from the exchange, and buy extra weapon slots for more effective game play. It took me 2 months to use up $20 worth of CE and at the end of those two months I had 4* everything plus a couple of 5* weapons, lots of materials, and plenty of recipes. Considering I regularly spend $20 just to go to the movies, 2 months of playing a game as much as I want is a really good deal for entertainment.

Starter pack is great. I

Starter pack is great. I started playing SK last week and now I'm in full 4* gear and on my way to getting my 5* equips. I also still have 5k CE left which I'll need every bit of to craft all my 5* gear (T___T 800 energy required for each.. sniff)

if you want to get through

if you want to get through the game, to see all the different stages, it's good to invest in a starter pack..

but i would recommend, buying good 3 star equipment from the AH (the ones that do have a path to 5 star, and are desirable in T3)
don't revive unless it's 10 energy or less, and if you desperately need it
only get the 4 and 5 star recipes, and using energy to craft them

It's absolutely worth it. It

It's absolutely worth it. It could easily jet you right into T3. Save the weapon slots, and use them once you have a bunch of 4* weapons, and you'll have a huge advantage. The starter pack is a godsend imo, I wish I could afford it. Starting off, I only bought the 750 energy. It went a long way, but it took a lot of time and effort to progress. The starter pack makes things easy for you.
