We will be doing a release tonight that includes the following:
- When hit while charging any weapon you will no longer have your charge broken. Instead your charge meter will be set back a fixed percentage, merely slowing you down.
- Fewer status type monsters will appear in all Tier 1 levels. For example, in a fire themed level, when monsters spawn there will be a selection of normal and fire monsters. This was done in order to reduce the difficulty of Tier 1.
- Translation errors on some levels have been fixed.
- Lots of new armor art has been completed:
-Wolver Coat/Cap
-Dusker Coat/Cap
-Ashtail Coat/Cap
-Vog Cub Coat/Cap
-Skolver Coat/Cap
-Volcanic Salamander Suit/Mask
-Viralisk Suit/Mask
-Deadly Viralisk Suit/Mask
- Lots of other minor bug fixes.
We need to do a quick bugfix release on top of this one to address a monster spawn bug that cropped up.
Another note- with this release comes an early version of our new damage scaling that modifies the damage type of monsters based on tier. This was done to make tier 1 easier for new players as they transition into understanding and requiring gear for special damage types. Tier 1 will now only feature normal damage, Tier 2 will have special damage types and Tier 3 will be a full on mix of normal and special damage types requiring the right gear for the right situation.
