If the amount that your charge is delayed per hit has diminishing returns. Each time you're hit during the same charge should delay you less and less.

even more reason to want to be able to finish your charge, keep in mind ticking DoT and environmental hazards can be pesky too.

You mean for example if you use numeric values here.
For a full charge you need ten. So you're charging, you get hit it's -5 from your charge. Next time you're hit it's -3 ?
I dunno.... getting hit a 2nd time in T3 right now as it is would blow through alot of your HP already.
