I'm actually pretty curious about this just because it seems like it has a lot of potential to be a good role-playing forum. Are there any good role-playing Spiral Knights forums out there, or is no one in this community really that interested in this sort of thing?

I was really just talking about in forum role-playing. I bet if this forum had a specific section devoted to role-playing people would use it, and I'm actually surprised at how little RP I've seen in game. Actually; to be honest, I haven't seen any.

Call me crazy (because it's true!) but every now and then I'll engage in a bit of exceedingly light roleplay, in-game. Flirting with Kozma, threatening Snipes with a spoon, having a one-sided conversation with a Mecha Knight about how I really don't care about his hopes and dreams... That sort of thing, y'know?
But considering that we know so LITTLE (see: nothing) about the origins, culture, and biology (or lack thereof) of the Spiral Knights, I seriously doubt this game has the capability to sustain heavy/serious roleplay at the moment. If substantially more canon were released in the future, this might change.

Count me in too if possible. I love RPing, I do it excessively on various sites without even realizing it!
...I'd prefer to wait until my suit and armor reach Level 10 though so I can upgrade them to their last form, so that I can give "Schwalala" a backstory that makes a lot more sense. Or rather, I thought of the backstory already, but it doesn't make much sense until I upgrade. :D

sure, why not, im not that quick a typer, so dont expect too much. would we be adventuring in the clockworks, because i dont have that good of gear. or much CE.
I'm not a big roleplayer (I kinda lost my interest some years ago), but I'm interested to see this happening on SK.
...But probably nobody here do that. People prefer hack'n'slash slimes and discuss about economy.
Also, are you looking for "In-game roleplay" too, or "forum/topic roleplaying" only?
