Hey, I've been trying to figure out for some time now, but are shield stats and resistances passive, affecting your total defense, or do they only apply when your shield is raised?

I'm well aware that health is a stat that only applies to the shields constitution, but what of the others?

AFAIK, the shiled's stats only apply when the shiled 'bubble' is up ;)

That's unfortunate news, but

That's unfortunate news, but thanks anyways. I was hoping that it'd be a passive defense upgrade, but most evidence points to it being applied only when you have your shield up.
