I'd just like to do enough Snarby runs to get a Bristling Buckler, and I just wondered is there anything in particular I need to know? My gear right now is this:
Chroma mask (got it from JK treasure box xD)
Solid Cobalt armor
Owlite shield
Nightblade
Super Blaster (could upgrade to Master blaster with moar energy)

I believe Snarby is a beast type so he's weak to pierce? Unfortunately I have no pierce weps xD

Dude...Snarby isn't hard once

Dude...Snarby isn't hard once you get used to it. Actually you're probably over prepared now. You don't even need a weapon that deals piercing, my first time I beat him with Searing Edge (elemental sword...strong against).

Do NOT chase him around. He's invincible until the bell stuns him.

Just stand in the center near the bell and shield (or dodge) until he gets close and hit the bell. Go wild on him at that point (slash slash slash). Repeat until he's dead.

Yeah you're already

Yeah you're already overpowered for this fight you should be fine as long as you shield when you need to.

Snarbolax is the only boss

Snarbolax is the only boss that's can be affected by knockback.

If you have someone waiting with a charged Calibur attack ready, you can have them fling the boss towards the bell-- you can stun him that way.

But it's easier to wait by the bell until he finally comes to you. Too many premature attacks tend to make him back off and burrow around underground more.
