The energy system is terrible, if you want people to play the game, it's a terrible idea to restrict the amount one can play.

The energy system is an action points system. It restricts the play time for games that otherwise would take too fast to finish. Also it defeats bot use. Imagine SK without energy. New players would reach tier 3 in a day. Plus it puts in an element of wise decision.

Locking this thread as it is not contributing anything to the forums.
To clear up a misconception - the energy system is not going to be overhauled in any major way prior to launch, save for possibly adjusting prices (which is something that we will tweak always over the life of the game).
Why don't you just buy some Crystal Energy with IRL money then and get over it.
The energy system is going to be revamped in some way before the release.
I hope you know energy is used for more than just going down elevators.
