Idea:
It would be great if you can click on a person and have an option to view his or her gear.
Why:
Myself and other players are always walking around and wondering hey what gear does that person have on etc. It would be cool if you would be able to just click on the person and view their gear.
That feature would be super cool.
I think who views your equipment could be handled like Facebook permissions--you can set it so that no one can see your armor (aside from what's on your avatar, of course), so that anyone can see your armor AND its stats and boosts, everyone can see ONLY the armor, only friends can see armor, stats and boosts, or only friends can see ONLY armor.
If those types of permissions were applied to guilds, you could have awesome secret guilds for secret raid parties.
+1 for this. A very good idea. I suggested this in-game, but a bit differently...
I suggested that they make it so you can view other people's equipment, but only if they allow it. By default, I think the setting should be set to "disabled" for the sake of privacy. We don't want people complaining about privacy because they want to hide their Unique Variants and whatnot. :)
There's also the concept of "requesting to view equipment". Where you could request to view their equipment and they can accept or deny it. But that's a different way of doing it.
