I need all information regarding Love Puppies here.
Starting off, the Wiki says "The Love puppy can spawn in any normal Gun Puppy point." Does this mean that it can only spawn in place of regular gun puppies, or does it count for any model or species of gun puppy? What levels and stratums have the most gun puppies? Where have YOU found a love puppy before? Is it possible to find a love puppy if you're the only one in the party? Do love puppy plushies exist?
I am completely aware that finding a rare monster such as a love puppy is completely random. I just need to know a few details so I can have a slightly higher chance of finding one. Cause not all levels and stratums have gun puppies.

That T3 arena is probably the best way to hunt for em. Do it solo and not only do you get the trinket if it drops one, any sun silver you get is yours.

Pretty sure it'll only spawn where "normal" gunpuppy would spawn. If you want to take BigFootM's advice, it'd have to be an IronEdge Arena, and even then you'll probably get rocket puppies instead of gun puppies.

The level, Red Carpet
The level, Red Carpet Runaround seems to be the place where a lot are found (I found mine there) but that may be due to the popularity of the level.

Exactly how do you find a love puppy durin a Vanaduke fight? Being that I've never killed the zombies and my party just pushes em up, I don't think you can ever find a Love Puppy/Gun Puppy series in a vanaduke fight.

They don't replace only
They don't replace only normal gun puppies. I've seen one in FSC, and it definitely spawned in place of a red rover.

Unless you're playing solo, they might have been spawning and getting killed immediately by heartless jerks who can't appreciate the wonder of a rare spawn before you even noticed it was there. :-p
Happens to me every time a moustache cube appears. I barely got my finger to the screenshot key by the time my mean ol' party had murdered the hilarious looking jelly. Wouldn't it be great if it turned out Moustache Cubes drop rare loot if you DON'T kill them? Hah!
Oh, I have seen a gun-puppy once or twice, though. Pretty sure it was like, late T1 or early T2, but no luck on trinkets either time.

The Impostocubes really
The Impostocubes really aren't too rare so its not the big of a deal. Again this may be due to the popularity of the Royal Jelly Palace which spawns plenty of monsters that an Impostocube can appear over. You know what would be funny though? If Impostocubes dropped rare loot if you DID kill them. Gold coin... yay?

One more thing.
Do you have to wait for the Love Puppy to drop a trinket, or do you have to destroy it for the trinket?
Haven't found one yet, but if I find one anytime soon I might post a screenshot.

I can confirm love puppies in
I can confirm love puppies in FSC. It's actually one of those luck stories. My first run of FSC and first time I ever saw a love puppy I got a 5hp pendant from it. Only reason I have a trinket slot actually. Start every T3 run with 20 hp. Only time I ever got lucky in this game though. I also waited for it to heal everyone before we killed it.

I keep hoping to see one when I run the JKs, but alas, I still havent seen the elusive Love Puppy, and if I have, it was killed before I could even see it, which makes me sadder that people dont stop and look!

I've seen a love puppy during a Vanaduke run. It was in the level Smoldering Steps, in the room where you break crates, step on switches and zombies spawn, and it was on the most top right. I wish I can post the screenshot I took but I don't know how to.

I've seen three; one was on
I've seen three; one was on the last room of D27 in firestorm (lucky, lucky placement, but my guildmates killed it without looking properly :[ ), one on an undead/slime level (I forget which, but one of the ones full of kats and jelly cubes) and the third was on a clockwork level somewhere. None of them dropped anything, though.

I've seen four Love Puppies:
Red Carpet Runaround (upper left gate)
Red Carpet Runaround (upper right gate)
Tier 3 Jigsaw Valley (whatever the one with the gun puppy spam and tons of spikes is called)
Smoldering Steps (trojan totem trap room)
The one in the upper right gate of Red Carpet Runaround dropped a tri-heart pendant, but I didn't get it. :(
I imagine the trinket drops are like the mat drops, as in the 5* will only drop on stratum 5 and up etc.

Jigsaw Valley
I've seen two Love Puppies so far. One in the upper left gate of Red Carpet Runaround, and one today in a Jigsaw Valley level leading up to IMF.
I'm also curious as to whether anyone's ever seen one in an arena level. You'd think those would be the best place to find them, since you always get a couple dozen gun puppies if you go through all three rooms and they're profitable levels anyway, but the spawn rate might be reduced (or they might not spawn at all) for that very reason.

I have just found a love puppy in FSC depth 24, the room after you kill all the wheels. We killed the last wave with the 2 trojans. On the left side a normal Red Rover spawned but on the right side spawned a Love Puppy. I have also seen many in Depth 16 of Jelly King runs in the room before the elevator to the boss. And also in Snorbolax runs Gloaming Wildwoods.
My question is: Do love puppies still drop trinkets at all?
PS: people say you can not unbind these heart pendants. But i am pretty sure that you can if you take it to Vise and unbind it. It doesn't say weapons it say STARS. and a +2 is 1 star, so really you should be able to unbind it at Vise.

It pretty much went like this "TURRETS I KILL U *ragecharge* lolol you're dead now. wait. OH GOD WHAT DID I DO ;_;"

Anybody know the chances of a love puppy dropping a trinket? I got one trinket from one, and the other just dropped crowns.

Love Puppy i've encountered:
- Red Carpet Runaround (top left gate)
- Jigsaw Valley (where there are insane amount of spikes and Gun Pups will surprise you)
- FSC: Ashen Armory (replaced the Rocket Pup)
Out of luck, didn't drop anything for me.
I dunno but maybe the player i'm with was just noobish or what, but he kinda takes the Love Puppy's description seriously:
"It will not drop True Love Locket for us because one of us needs to be his BFF."

Love puppy in D6 arena, it was a posion beast arena but it proves that love puppies can replace any type of gun puppy and also spawn in arenas
I have met two puppies in total, one was in jelly king run and the other is in this arena. both didnt drop anything though

I first saw one in the second
I first saw one in the second floor of the snarble forest, where you first go down to hit the button. I received a 1* heart pendant from that one. Two or three days ago I saw another one in a T2 arena, didn't drop anything.
