All haze bomb variants don't actually apply the damage buff on anything but the very small initial explosion. Because of this, the only UV that is highly valued is CTR.

It really doesn't matter. Even if you make it into a fire bomb, the damage bonus will still only apply to the initial explosion, not the large fire DoT.
In terms of overall usefulness, the order is: Ice > Fire > Poison

Seriously though, the only UV that would work on haze bombs would be charge time reduction since that would allow you to spam status ailments everywhere.

Damage UVs on haze bombs are pretty worthless because they aren't useful for their direct damage, but rather their indirect damage through status ailments.
