Starting bid: 5k CE
Increment: 200 CE
Buyout: 10k CE
After 24 hrs it'll be sold if there's no subsequent bids for 6 hours or so. For buyout just find me in-game (IGN: Greenapplesplatter), first come first serve.

@seth
so you know we currently still have bids going out and as the post states " it'll be sold if there's no subsequent bids for 6 hours or so." Se my post #4, had noone placed a bid inbetween post 4 and now you would be right the auction would be over, but seeing as people are stil bidding its fair game as per original rules.
Edit: any word on now official end time from the OP would be nice though..
and before we continue can we get a chackon amoa's bid? since they are raising by 600 and 400 respectfully, and not the min it looks a little odd? Like they are trying to arbitrarily raise the price....
w/e buyout
10k
ign sethcohend
So much for an auction. =/ w/e grats seth, @ amoa.. B/O means its over bro.
Since it went beyond buyout, let's give it couple hours to see if anybody else will bid.
G_A_S due to the nature of the auction B/O is the topout price you had set, it would behoove you to close the auction out to seth as such. Allowing it to continue past the buyout is definately questionable, now past the initial 24 hrs is acceptable becuase of the little thing you had added into your post which i explained in post #13.
If you do allow this to go over 10k then it's bad auctioning period and has turned into a bit a greed issue.
EDIT: You yourself state "first come first serve." By not allowing seth to take buyout your pretty much lying....
I also said for buyout to find me in game. Which nobody did before the bids skyrocketed. I would be perfectly happy with 10k CE for the item, however it's not only about me, but other ppl wanting the item. It wouldn't be fair to them if they're willing to pay for it. Auction on forums is there as a guideline, had it been an in-game auction I wouldn't have control over who I sell to, here however, I do.
he refuses to sell to me ingame even though i offered b/o price pretty sad
i would strongly advise everyone to stay away from G_A_S auctions in the future
i found u ingame right after i bought it out you liar
@seth

Waste of time to wake up early and track this thing today...
11k bid was posted 2 mins after your buyout. You came online like 10 mins later. GG
G_A_S at this point man you look pretty bad... You stated the rules in the beggining. Just becuase some jerk thinks it's ok to try and buyout higher becuase he really wants it, defeats the WHOLE PURPOSE of an auction. There is a start price and an end price, along with (or should be) a start time and a definative end time. Sniping rule can be instituted of corse.
If you break those terms than its not an auction...
You should have wrote selling~ Max ELE Wolver CAP, start price is 5k. OBO WIll end sometime {insert} day when no more bids seem to be placed....
he's just a loser a friend in my guild one piece said he did this before aswell
sad
Nice... very dissapointing to see a nice piece given out at a flawed auction.
Worste part is I dont know who is worse.... The buyer for not respecting the B/O or the seller for being greedy...
Really? I did this before? lol Way to go out of your way with lies man. I guess that's what you meant in your in-game private msg threats.
You know there's two sides to this, Yonfire. I perceive you and Sethcohend as the greedy ones, trying for semantics to buy smth for less than someone else is willing to pay for.
ok scam masterx
can't even follow the rules of your own auction
G_A_S people like you is what makes sellers look bad.
2nd, People Like you should keep away from the Bazaar if you don't know how to follow the rules/ have courtesy To other people
http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/12153 < i had a 20kce offer ingame but I still sold it for buyout which was 15kce
Just sayin'
and Whatever the Fu*k this is, its not an auction For SURE.
Of corse G_A_S there are always two sides to a coin, and when it comes to OPINION noone is wrong and entittled to it. You perceive us as greedy we perceive you that way and thats ok. For someone who seems a bit more educated using both the words semantics and subsequent (correctly in the sentance), I am definately a little dissapointed in your decission here.
I think a lot of people would agree and disagree.
Now getting away from opinion. Semantics: "It is often used in ordinary language to denote a problem of understanding that comes down to word selection." While you did use the word correctly in the sentance it's application doesnt fit.
I Quote:
Starting bid: 5k CE (this is the min you are willing to sell it for)
Increment: 200 CE (this was the min increase to be placed by any individual)
Buyout: 10k CE (This is the Buy It Now price)
After 24 hrs it'll be sold if there's no subsequent bids for 6 hours or so (i already adressed this comment above). For buyout just find me in-game (removed the IGn for note: This states if you want to BUY It Now for the price i stated get to me in game), first come first serve (self explanitory).
::At this point everyone understood the rules of the auction, for the exception of the time frame. Which i did explain and at that point everyone was on the same page. While you state for buyout find me in game, you do also state First come first serve. So even if noone came to you in game to buyout, you do say (no semantics here, this is general understanding of your first post and placing it together) "The first to Buyout, whether in game or on forum, will get the item."
With that being said had ammo placed his B/O at 11k when bids were below 10k than that would have been his prerogative.
TL;DR - The first to post the buyout was seth, so he SHOULD be the first served. Surely you agree with that. Whether you choose to honor that (and in my book your word is your bond, once broken there is no trust, again opinion) is upto you, but it really does make you look bad.
^ explains it all.
Gtfo g_a_s.
make sure to let your guilds/friends know greenapplesplatter is a scammer
i hope it was worth the 1k extra ce
@darkang3l
::fist pump::
EDIT:
@seth
he technicly wont fit under the scammer category, just a person who cant follow their own auction rules and has a bad business sense. i would take a 1k hit now and keep your credibility to continue to make money via auctions on the forums, much like Dark mentioned.
Must be really desperate if he really wanted that extra 1kce.
Was about to buy this out thank god I didnt. Seller is dishonest and greedy. Its people like this that make bazzar lose its intergrity.
Haha go get more of your buttbuddies to post.
Following rules to your own detriment is just dumb. If I see 2 offers it's obvious which I'm gonna pick, that's just common sense.
Anyway *yawn*, item sold, it's over, go play the game.
You wont be laughing when the next item you put up for sale on bazzar goes straight to the graveyard.
rofl, so true hollafamer....
i think its funny that he says get more of your buddies to post, this is like a whole mixture of the forum community, you dont respect the fact that people spend all their time watching this thread you put up, assuming you will honor you OWN WORDS, only to waste all their time watching and reloading and rebidding ect, just plain rude to the people who were going to give you money, these are you customers, you were nothing but rude...
@ G.A.S
I believe you made a typo on ur last post
"[NOT] following your [OWN] rules [..] is just dumb"
:)
If you post a buyout, its obvious the person who bids that amount wins. If you cannot see that, you fail.
EDIT: unless you're a 10 year old kid. Then that makes perfect sense. If your any older, you mustve been a drop out.
Looks like G_A_S is about to run out of gas.
Obviously your credibility has gone out the window. I think we can easily draw a line between greed and money hungry. I'll admit there's greed in everyone, but you sir are definitely both money hungry and greedy. The difference between is you'll step on anyone's toes to get it while along the way break the rules you set yourself.
You brush it off like you came out the winner with your fake *yawn* and tell us to play the game when in reality you'll never be able to sell again in the bazaar. Like Hollafamer said..your threads will just end up in the graveyard. If by chance you start another thread I'm sure the members will will destroy it or warn bidders of your shady ways while referencing this one.
Common sense is knowing the difference between Right And Wrong.
Greed is what Im seeing here
