Im assuming there is an unbind glitch? Just noticed a Barbarous Thorn Shield in the AH, which shouldn't be possible. Anyone wanna explain?
Unbind Glitch
Dropped from a treasure box, simply. Boxes can theorically drop about any equipments, I've seen players obtaining Avengers or even Dread venom striker (5*). Same goes for that weapon you've seen in Auction house :3
Ahh. I was under the impression that 4* was as high as it went from chests. Personally gotten maybe around 7-8 4* items. Never even seen a 5* drop, nor do I know anyone who has had a 5* item drop for them.
But that explanation makes logical sense. Ill take it. =D
Items begin to drop in the stratum number that matches their star rating.
1* items drop in Stratum 1 and onward. (The first half of Tier 1)
2* items drop in Stratum 2 and onward. (The last half of Tier 1)
3* items drop in Stratum 3 and onward. (The first half of Tier 2)
4* items drop in Stratum 4 and onward. (The last half of Tier 2)
5* items drop in Stratum 5 and onward. (The first half of Tier 3).
Stratum 6 has no new drops, but there's Vanaduke and mass crowns.
This goes for materials from monsters, and probably also applies to the very rare equipment drops from treasure boxes. (It's rumored that equipment drops happen slightly more often in Treasure Vaults, Danger Room prize boxes, and Arena prize boxes... I have absolutely no evidence but it might make sense.)
wow..now i see a good reason to solo t3 :l
I ..................... wait will posting this get me banned because i replicated this for 3 swords at least
If you know how to unbind stuff when you're not supposed to be able to yet, then you really ought to report to OOO how you're doing it so they can fix it.
It is your duty to report bugs that exploit things to the GMs and not exploit it.
I have still yet to see a item drop and I have been playing since the preview. Haven't seen a love puppy either.
Most likely got it from a treasure box. They drop equipment at a very rare chance. (I've never seen a 5* drop but I have gotten a 4* from one, so a 5* is entirely possible.)
