Flourish lines... Final, Rigadoon, Flamberge....
Is there a clearly 'better' one of the three? I hear Final Flourish is superior, on the basis that "it does the most damage, while the others have lackluster status effects".
Thoughts?
I suppose my next question would be... just what is the likelihood of getting a stun/burn in, numbers wise. I've heard quotes around 1 in 20 for the rigadoon, I'm looking for a bit more correspondence.
I have a 4* rigadoon its not bad especialy when your in a pack of wolvers and the stun comes up youll stun practicly the whole pack. It dosn't come up that often however. The fire wouldn't do much on them as they are resistent, as far as fiends the fire does more but they don't last long to a piecing sword anyways.
The Flourish will give you a bit more DPS all around and the Rig will stun anything it hits fairly effectively (when you roll it that is) I've hit enemys with it that have spawned in my face I normaly wouldn't attack with such a sword and rolled a stun buying myself time to retreat and swap weapons.
I wouldn't bother with the flamberg (sp) as half the critters you would use it against are either immune to the fire (wolvers) or only take normal damage from it but are very weak to the sword in general (fiends).

Wolvers aren't immune to fire, except if they are fire-element (ash?) wolvers. Resistance to elemental damage doesn't mean resistance to status effects, or vice versa.
But yes, I would go with the main flourish line. Anything else is too unreliable to be useful.
Probable chance of status effects do not adequately compensate for the consistently higher damage of the Final Flourish.
