Sealed Sword

Just got my Sealed Sword. I like its charge attack a lot, as well as its overall style. Thing is, the reload time is just absolutely ridiculous. I find my self attacking only once just so that I can shield right after. I don't think that's fair at all, especially because it does about the same amount of damage as my striker, but has a significantly smaller combo.

its a great sword its meant

its a great sword its meant to be slow and you're comparing it to a cutter line weapon that can miss most of its combo

Well, should its damage or something not compensate for the slowness?

Also, if you're missing with a Striker, you'd be missing with the sealed sword as well.

Sealed Sword is just plain

Sealed Sword is just plain bad. Upgrade it to Divine Avenger, and use it in FSC. Then you'll be seeing some progress. The knockback and charge are extremely powerful. I T3 you wouldn't wanting to be doing full combos anyway. It's too risky most of the time. T2 you can get away with it for the most part, but Sealed Sword again isn't very good as I said.

Oh, so its upgraded version

Oh, so its upgraded version is a lot better. Okay.

I'm doing Jelly King runs still of the moment, so I feel that a Faust would be a lot more helpful. Aside from the borky charge attack, is the Faust still as good as the Avenger?

Heavy swords are a

Heavy swords are a specialized weapon like a cutter, except they have different specialties. You can use them for the knockback against gremlins, mecha knights, etc. with your first swing, without getting into *their* melee range. If you want a more general-use sword, go with a calibur or brandish.

Info about it.

I am sure its a good sword because I do have one. But the one thing that it lacks, is the speed. The good part is that it hits high normal damage and hits the monsters out of range.

Yes, the Faust is just as good. Charge isn't too bad either, but definitely not at Divine Avenger level. I recommend getting it if you like the style of the two strike swords.
