They combined the best of all worlds ^.^
But... there's two of them. That's new, isn't it?
Snarby doesn't stalk the Gloaming Wildwoods in pairs, does he?

not only the boss is a waste of time, the items u get is also another waste of time.
and all the guns are troll, i'd say the bomb is okay, but not good enuf.
Well, they DO sometimes sync their lasers. Painful.
Ended first run on those.
Stage is hard but because of the generous health quite easy if your companions cooperate.
Boss is mad easy... I was lagging hard and got them.
It is fun and the way you defeat them is different from the other bosses, is not hard but is quite fun to fight them.
The only item Im getting is the pulsar, after that no Doggies for me, and I will only upgrade it if the bug is fixed
The boss fight almost reminded me of Gradius/R-Type/Lifeforce/etc as there are lots of projectiles and obstacles you have to dodge (while keeping track of the big picture). Except for the lag, I found it quite fun. The fight also requires good teamwork and communication, as well as some specialization.
And they said they were doing something new with the new boss!
