So I've been playing the new bosses... And then I realized... Gremlins weren't exactly smart in designing these pups. See, these giant turrets have one huge flaw... There size. There heads don't seem to be able to move vertically, which means they can only fire in a straight line. and if they can only fire in a straight line, How do they plan to burn haven to the ground if there heads are too high off the ground to fire directly at anything.. Good job gremlins, Your brilliant idea fails just a little bit.
Gremlin Design Flaw on Project Roarmulus!
True but if they had homing missiles, you'd think they'd use them on us when we put them in near death situation like the lasers.
the thing im wondering is how the gremlins planned to transport the twins to haven? it seemed that they were on some type of track, but its not exactly a fully baked plan to get them passed the spiral order
They probably didn't get that far yet. Hopefully they will never get that far because those turrets are powerful enough to destroy haven.
the biggest design flaw is making 2 of them...
then make it worst by facing them at each other
just one of them and we all be dead,
but 2 of them,
and there is something else that can hurt them
then actually stupidly give them the chance to kill each other...
the biggest design flaw is making 2 of them...
Actually, I think there are more. You see three of them before you fight them.
Ever noticed how they rise up to the platform? :P
Good Point,
and i understand redundancies for backups,
But they should never be used together.
XD
I agree. Using two at once probably seemed like a good idea at the time. d=
I'm also hinting at something a little more sinister then backups and redundancies. The factory mass produces weapons, and there are more than two Roarmulus turrets. Before the boss you can see 3 Roarmulus turrets. In the "built to destroy" wallpaper, you can see 6 Roarmulus turrets lined up in a row...
I think it's good we are farming the boss right now...
I was hoping for a fight like http://youtu.be/gFBhSliFln8?t=43s
If the missiles are anything like those from rocket puppies then they'll simply follow the contours of the terrain, removing the need to adjust vertical trajectories.
