I am using mainly swords and going with
Grey Owlite Shield (fire and shock resist)
Skolver Cap (freeze resist)
Radiant Silvermail (shadow, poison and curse resist)

Should I go with the Glacius or Leviathan sword? The only difference I can find is Glacius has elemental damage and chance to freeze, Leviathan doesn't

What do you think?

Glacius or Leviathan

For my opinion I would choose Galcius. Because it does elemental and normal damage. Leviathan blade does only normal damage but it has higher stats in normal damage.

Since you use mainly swords,

Since you use mainly swords, get both (or Levi and DA for another elemental sword). Levi first, since it works in all situations and has a great charge...

Thats kinda what I was thinking. I current have Ascended Calibur at level 7 and just got the Brandish to start the Glacius.

How about my amour choices? Does it look like a good mix to resist various damages?

no, it looks pretty bad, get elemental defense gear with fire resist instead, seeing as FSC is the end goal of the game right now.

What good is it to have massive fire resist and leave evrythign else alone? Does fire do that much more damage to you?

Sorry I am fairly new, I haven't even been past level 13 yet.

Even in T2, elemental damage

Even in T2, elemental damage is quite present (gun puppies everywhere).
You can live without fire resist (though that means being really skilled in FSC), but I'd not leave elemental defense empty (which is the reason why owlite is a good series of shields...)
I'd say, replace the silvermail (shadow can quite easily be dodged [undeads], or needs to be shielded off [devilites]) with some armor with elemental def. That might be Wolver (but no elemental until 5* !) or Magic...
If at some point Fiends are a problem, get a second shield (Skelly series) and switch before fiend strata...

So if I go with Glacius and

So if I go with

Glacius and Leviathan (mainly Glacius I think)
Argent Peacemaker
Grey Owlite Shield
Vog Cub Coat

Which helm would be better Skolver to add a little piercing and freeze resist (plus it looks cool, prolly go with this for costume either way) or Vog to really up the elemental and fire resist.

My goal is to be able to handle almost anything without to many issues as a swordsman. I hate bombs and I've never been good at kiting but I need something to spend Jellys on.

Zelda

try both and test their attacks, from what ive experienced:

calibur requires skill for the charge attack in teams
caliburs charge attack can be strong if used correctly

not sure about glacius, but if its similar to combuster, i noticed a more fluent swing using the combuster line compared to levi line, which made me go with combuster, try it out with blizzbrand

now in combination with ur gear, id say get calibur line, the ASI should make up for fluent swings, u hav a gun for range attacks, calibur should be fine, still i think its a weird combination to have almost perfect gear for fsc, but no DA..lol

and since no1 has mentioned it yet..while calibur is great for solo, it can be a pain in team, if u use it wrong

I've noticed the issues with calibur in team beacause of the knockback, but when i can get a group in a corner its devistating.

Guess I'll go with Skolver Cap to add piercing damage and increase to damage in general.

Thanks for everyone help.

I have both a Glacius and

I have both a Glacius and Levi

I exclusively use Glacius in FSC...it does insanely good dmg and freezes for great crowd control. I solo FSC with Glacius and have no issues...even while wearing Azure helm/armor :). Levi is probably the best all around sword to use in most scenarios however...good overall dmg output and the charge attack can definitely help in certain situations where you need to run/heal/rev.

It's all about personal preference though - and how you learn to use your own skill with it. I personally keep finding myself going back to the Glacius more often than Levi. Both great swords!

Massive waste to have an

Massive waste to have an elemental and a normal imo, you're better off pairing your Glacius with a shadow weapon like a Nightblade or Faust. This way, you cover 4/6 of the mob types with increased damage, as opposed to your setup, which only does bonus damage to 2/6.

If i was starting from

If i was starting from scratch again, i'd probably do that. However i've really come to like the combo i have. On top of that, my Levi & Glacius both have great UV's, so i don't really have issues with any mob types. I may however rethink my setup once the unbind shop comes out. Thanks for your suggestion.
